We had our Daughter Poppy’s 18th meal here on Tuesday, the staff could not have been more accommodating, nothing was too much trouble they made us very welcome and pampered us all evening- thank you so much to all the staff�

We came for a meal on Saturday evening, we booked very last minute after an unexpected babysitter! Even though the place was packed, we were still accommodated. The food was delicious and the staff are a real friendly bunch and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be returning - can't wait! Thankyou so much for a lovely evening :-)

Wanted to book for 8.00 pm but could only get 7.00 but we never felt hurried or rushed. The service was excellent. Warm advocado and prawn starter was lovely. Main course was rack of lamb on a bed of mixed vegetables and again this was very nice.my mixed fruit ice cream finished off an excellent meal before we walked over the road for some live music xxx

My husband booked us a table for our 20th wedding anniversary..id heard very good things about Mimmo's and was dying to try it as we both love Italian food. It was very quiet but it WAS a Wed night at 7.30. WOW! The food was to die for and the service amazing. Pate starter with 12" garlic bread..EACH! and the canneloni is THE best I have ever tasted. House red wine very good too...and the waiter kept coming back to the table to top my glass up...great personal customer service. Deffo be going back ...often..and already spreading the word.

Mushroom Al Forno, cheesy garlic bread, stroganoff and chips, what’s not to like. Top draw food, fab welcome and value, Mimmo, Mrs Mimmo, Alex and the gang make it so we don’t want to go anywhere else really!

Excellent birthday dinner with friends. The Restaurent was very busy for a Sunday night and we were in no rush, in fact we enjoyed the bustling atmosphere. We have eaten here many times and it's one of our local favourites. Their Cannelloni is consistently the best we've eaten. 2 of us decided to have steaks with pepper sauce which was outstanding with lovely cabbage and potatoes. Great house red and complimentary Limoncello made this another lovely experience. We would highly recommend

Eat here on a somewhat regular basis at the start of the evening with having a 5 year old . Can’t really fault anything, Mimmo and Alex- who always takes care of the three of us are always polite and very entertaining- with our cheeky little angel. Mainly eat the steaks as they are cooked with their relevant sauces rather than a pot at the side like so many other places. Full marks!

Been several times previously and it has been amazing this time chose the rack of lamb off the special board...... soòoo disappointed lamb was so fatty the fillet of the lamb was lovely but irhe rest was very very fatty..... no way was this the best meal we've had here ..... we don't earn enough to go for a meal often and I was very let down and felt upset that we chose here for a treat.......... very upset let down and disappointed..........

I think they are a must when paying for a sit down 3 course meal at a restaurant. The price was reasonable for what we had but had to say, other than the pasta, the rest was bland. The desserts were tasteless and the garlic bread and my daughters pizza were bland except for a strange tainted taste of the oven??? Shame...was such a lovely place at one time.
