A 8 week course suitable for beginners and those with previous experience alike. You will work with experienced ballet teacher and ex-dancer Charli Fletcher who will guide you through a range of ballet steps and sequences to develop your skills and knowledge both at the barre and in the centre.
In this graceful dance style you will build and core strength, flexibility, co-ordination, posture, alignment and above all discover the magic and enjoyment that ballet can bring!
It’s... never too late to dance!
This is an 8 week course at a cost of £100, starting on Monday the 24th September and finishing on Monday the 26th November, it excludes Mondays the 22nd & 29th October, no refunds or credits are offered for missed sessions, as the course progresses week by week it is beneficial to commit to the full course.

What are your movement patterns? Why do you move the way you do? In this workshop Carolyn will be leading you through a creative movement practice, using yoga asana as the framework. Exploring the fun that can be had in transition between poses, Carolyn will encourage enquiry into your movement patterns, and invite you to find an alternative way to move in the realm of what feels good for your body. Listening to your body's intelligence, and allowing that to lead you, is satisfyingly self-empowering.
Carolyn provides the framework and prompts, whilst holding space for you to go on your own exploration. Suitable for all levels.
If you’ve always wanted more guidance on your inversions but feel like in a regular class they are never given enough time, this workshop is for you. We’ll go through some drills to strengthen the key muscle groups that help you feel stable upside down, for you to practice at home. Then we’ll look at safe alignment, and learn to connect to our centre of gravity when everything is upside down! This class is suitable for everybody, whether you’re wanting to overcome fear around inversions or you want to learn better technique to feel more stable whilst inverted. Depending on level of those in the class, we’ll look at shoulderstand, headstand, pincha (forearm stand) and maybe handstand. There will be close supervision as class numbers are kept small.
