Game Day!!!
Today both Minety teams take to the field to represent the Green and Purple as the end of the season approaches fast.
The 1stXV travel to Melksham Rugby Club in division 1. The 1st team will be looking to end their last 3 games and the season on a high. Having won one and lost one in their last two league games. A win today would go a long way to getting into the top six for the end of the season.
... The 2ndXV are at HOME to Bradford on Avon in division 2. With numbers having been a problem for the club and the league this season and another club dropping out of the league the new table sees Minety squarely at the bottom. With that in mind captain Steve Sjw will be looking for 2 wins in the last 2 games to show the second team still deserve a spot in the league.
Good luck to both teams today! COME ON MINETY!

The second thing that we have to celebrate is reaching 200 'likes' on this page. Thank you to all those that already support us and follow the page. Please invite your friends and spread the word.

Morning all!
Tomorrow Minetys 1st XV take on Supermarine RFC at home. Kick of 2:15PM.
Club captain Tom Claxton will be hoping that the 1st XV can keep up their unbeaten run against Supermarine. When we spoke to him Tom had this to say: "Obviously we will be looking to build on last weekends gritty win over Bassett and hopefully start to march our way back up the table. Our start to the season has been a bit tougher this year than normal with a long injury list hampering our... progress in the league. Hopefully it will be a keenly contested game and fingers crossed that Andy DarrallŌĆÖs decision to join Minety from Marine will be vindicated".
the last 3 games have all gone Minetys way with a 17-70 victory away, a 20 - 3 victory at home and a 5 - 38 victory away.
The squad that will take to the field this weekend are:
Forwards: Andy Darrall Mark Glew Tom Claxton Morgan Aubery Gareth Gaz Peirce Rob Hinwood Ben Collins Jay Thomson Wallace Hibbard Ben Charles Scott Kieran Tillotson
Backs: Jack Howse Jack Ward Garin Garland Matthew Roberts Duncan Simpson Christopher Rule Sam Hughes
If you are free then please come along and support the lads. The bar will be open.

Game Day!!!!
Welcome back everyone. So today both teams are at home.
The 1st XV will look to kick start the second half of the season against local rivals Royal Wootton Bassett Rugby Football Club. The last time these two teams met Minety came away wins with a score line of 47-13. Tom Claxton will be hoping to see a similar score today at home.
... The 2nd XV face Combe Down RFC. Steve Sjw will lead the side out against Combe, who are second in the table and will be hoping to put in a good performance in front of the home crowd. In there last meeting Combe took the victory but Minety will be hoping home advantage allows them to put the pressure on the visitors.
We would like to invite anyone who has some spare time today to come down and cheer the lads on. Both teams are at home and the bar will be open. Kick off is at 2:15PM.
