Have you ever wondered what it’s like to run a Mini First Aid franchise? Or maybe it’s something you’d love to do yourself but just not sure!
Jodie, who runs Mini First Aid Hull & East Riding, has been with us since the early days and says, “I love the flexibility of being able to choose my own hours. The best thing about Mini First Aid is that I feel like I am part of a family. There is a fantastic support network and there is always someone at the end of the phone if I need... any help or have a question.”
If you’re keen to find out more about owning your own Mini First Aid franchise we’d LOVE to hear from you. Drop us a comment below or visit or website to find out more.

Did you know that on average 110 children attend A&E every single day with a burn injury? Almost 50% of these are caused by hot drinks.
Here are a few simple ways to reduce the chance of your little one getting a burn from a hot drink:
☕️ Make sure cups containing hot drinks are placed high-up and out of reach of little hands... ☕️ Ask for hot drinks in cafes to be placed in takeaway cups with a lid (take your own reusable cup to help reduce waste) ☕️ Avoid drinking hot drinks while holding or feeding your baby (don't forget to ask visitors to do the same!) ☕️ Ensure you know the correct first aid for burns to minimise the chance of a serious burn injury; burns gel is a must-have for your changing bag first aid kit!
If you'd like to know more about first aid for burns, we'll be running FREE first aid sessions all this week at local Mothercare UK stores; you can book onto these over on the Mothercare website.

When you suddenly notice a bright, red rash on your baby, it’s natural to feel a bit panicky. But panic not; skin rashes are a normal part of babyhood. Your baby’s skin is his largest organ and is still developing. While it's worth being aware of the more serious conditions that can cause a rash, most rashes are mild and many can be treated at home – without medical treatment or panic. This handy guide from mumsnet.com tells you all you need to know about baby rashes:
