Mini First Aid North Warwickshire, Coventry & Tamworth

Teddy and I visited Cherubs Community Playgroup in Stoke, Coventry for an Early Years session yesterday! It was lovely to meet all the children who were super enthusiastic and asked some great questions, as well as telling me about some of their own first aid experiences too! 😊

Only a few days after attending a Mini First Aid class in North London, first-time mum Sam Tobin Loughton’s 7 month-old daughter Nell, choked whilst eating a piece of banana. Sam remembered her Mini First Aid training and immediately started to perform back slaps and thankfully saved Baby Nell’s life! Sam will be joining our Founder Kate to share her story on the Mothercare UK Facebook Live Event THIS Wednesday (15 May) at 1pm. Be sure to tune in - it’s not to be missed!

Teddy is in the car and feeling very excited, as we’re heading off to deliver a Mini First Aid Early Years session together to a group of children at a playgroup this morning! Sing and Sign Nuneaton run great sessions for babies and toddlers locally, and they still have some spaces left in summer term classes in Nuneaton and Atherstone. 🙂👍

I can personally highly recommend St Marys Birth Centre in Melton Mowbray as I had my first baby there and received amazing postnatal care and breastfeeding support. I had to have my second in hospital but transferred back to St Mary’s as soon as I was discharged from hospital and I’m so glad I did as it was just as positive an experience second time around.
