About Mini Hares At Hares Of Berkshire
Mini Hares is part of Hares of Berkshire, it's not a separate business, but a page to share the Mini side of things.
Mini's are my passion!

This John Cooper Works Si, has been in for some surgery. New sills, door steps, lower rear wing sections and A-panels. As well as some localised repairs....
It's been awhile since the last update. But the City we were renovating is now finished, and back with its happy owner....
Lots of work has been going on, with late 79's Mini City. It's now painted. Just the panels left to do....
Some paintwork carried out on one of company Minis...
It's not just classic minis at H.O.B, I also work on the modern MINI (I own a classic and a new mini)... This MINI came in for a minor accident repair...
The other classic mini that I have in at the moment, is a job for a well respected local mini mechanical specialist. This one needed a sill, door step and some localised repairs....
Updates have been a bit sparse recently, as I've been busy on 'other jobs'. I currently have 2 minis in for surgery, at Hares of Berkshire, the first of which, is this lovely low mileage late 70's mini city.....
This nice sports pack, in rare Volcano orange, has been in for some new front end panels...
The 'new' Mini Hares/Hares of Berkshire daily... despite looking tidy, it was cosmetically challenged....
The rest of this week was spent sorting some rust on this Mini. It failed the MOT on a rusty Sill and step. Although the customer only had the budget for pattern parts, and a cover sill (the death of many a good Mini), I still cut all the old rot out before making the panels fit as nicely they can. Some work was required to reinstate the lip along the bottom of the rear wing too.....
A couple of Minis in this week, the 1st belonging to my 3 year old son, Charlie....
Charlie had crashed his new mini and knocked the front bumper off. Luckily, help was at hand.....
New header tank fitted to the 'Mini Hares' mini....
Finally got my Mini out of hibernation, it's been 'sleeping' for nearly 4 years.... MOT on Thursday, but a fe small jobs to do tomorrow, namely the expansion tank! This fantastic car had only done 26k miles πππ»ππ»ππ»
This is a little sub-page I've put together, to post all my Mini 'stuff'. Minis have and always will be my passion, I've owned them consistently since the age of 15, and genuinely offer a service that doesn't 'bodge' them. For cars that are deemed to be simple, with plentiful parts supply, they still need to be repaired correctly, otherwise you're just throwing your money away!
The Mini went home today. Fresh MOT, tracking sorted, 4 new tyres, new rear subframe, RC40 exhaust, new petrol tank, new drivers side door, sill, step, lower rear wing and inner sill section.
Nice early 80's Mini, subframe replacement...
