When the venue for your evening reception looks this gorgeous, you know it’s going to be a great one! Happy Friday all 🎉
What better way to spend this rather grey day in London than to pop over to the @royalacademyarts for a bit of festive cheer! The two great masters, William Turner and Thomas Gainsborough look rather regal ready for the festive season 😊
I just love love the high tide and what’s better than to be stranded in the most gorgeous of the beer gardens @whiteswantwick ! Cheers to the Sunday afternoon spent sitting in the tables sipping glögg 🎉
My world ❤️, Farewell drinks with the #teammiddleeast
The fabulous Levan Lagidze, one of Georgia’s most significant living artists, is exhibiting in the beautiful @katrinelevingalleries Certainly a must see show if you are in St James’s. Happy art filled Friday
This beautiful composition of perfectly placed Launer handbags could easily be mistaken for a wall of art. And quite rightly so as this handbag make is the favourite of the Queen. She is known to have over 200 of these perfectly crafted pieces of luxury. Happy Thursday all 👜👜
What a way to spend this wet and cold afternoon in this über gorgeous bookshop/bar/cafe! All this fabulousness can be found in a former Edwardian banking hall, designed by Edward Lutyens in 1922. The beautiful architecture is complemented by Assouline’s books and furniture so whiling you afternoon away in this beautifully cosy room is rather easy 😊
Good night from Richmond! This view is beyond beautiful ❤️☀️
Did someone say Christmas? @ralphlauren is doing Christmas red in the most sumptuous way! Have a fabulous evening all 🤗
There is the most gorgeous @sipsmith pop up gin bar in Princes Arcade. It will certainly add some more cheer to anyone’s Christmas shopping. And it’s even better when your gin is served from this beautiful drinks trolley! It is rather stunning, isn’t it🥂. Happy Friday
This gorgeous flower display really spells ‘Pre-Christmas’ and @fortnums really know how to push the boat out when it comes to showing off with flowers (or with any displays for that matter 👌). So the countdown for the festive period is now truly underway
Oh, what joy this autumn weather is proving to be, and these colours! Everywhere you go, you are met with the most brilliant scenes! London looking very handsome in the autumn sun ☀️
The Glorious Dead, the Cenotaph at Whitehall surrounded by the wreaths from the Queen and the rest of the Royal family as well as all the politicians and other dignitaries. Sir Edward Lutyens designed the memorial (Cenotaph in Greek means an empty tomb) for all the fallen in the Great War, and it was unveiled by George V in 1920. Since then it has become the memorial for all who have been lost in wars over the decades.
The Field of Remembrance at the @westminsterabbeylondon, put together every year since 1928 by @thepoppyfactory. A poignant reminder, lest we forget
The welcome! Can’t get much better than this 👌
A perfect cosy corner for a pre lunch get together in the most beautiful library, the one and only Oxford and Cambridge Club! Have a lovely midweek 🌺
Behind the scenes of the artists’ colony at the Eel Pie Island and this wine bar must be the quirkiest I have ever seen! Cheers to the great music history, with the Beatles, Black Sabbath, the Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Rod Stewart, and David Bowie all having performed here early in their career 🥂
You might have seen these 6ft tall aluminium Soldier Tommy figures appear at locations nationwide this week.
The transparent silhouettes, which stand with their head bowed, rifle in hand, and with a poppy on the chest are a centenary commemoration of the end of the Great War.
A poignant reminder of the 888,246 British and Commonwealth soldiers who died in the Great War and of those who survived but suffered physical and mental scars. The silhouettes will tour the nation until Armistice Day #tommyrichmond
