Went there last night with my husband and daughter as per recommendation by a friend. Were pleasantly surprised at the superb quality of the thali . Good size portions and a great variety of dishes. Staff were brilliant. Very attentive but not in your face. The waiters were delightful, a smile and very curtious. Overall a wonderful experience.

If I could recommend one little addition would be to provide hot tissues at the end of the meal as some of us like to eat indian food with our hands not knife and fork.Will be returning with family and friends very soon .Thank you Mint Leaf for a very nice evening x

To break tradition and give ourselves a welcome break from cooking we enjoyed a takeaway for Christmas lunch�. Well we have to say the food was outstanding! Still nice and hot when we got back to LN2 in Lincoln and exactly what we ordered. The quality was magnificent and when we picked it up the lovely young lady insisted she carried our takeaway to the door, it was a very nice touch! All in all a 10/10 experience. Thank you for making our Christmas lunch so enjoyable and different.

Just home from mint leaf after not having been for about a year, used to go weekly, always loved it but for one reason or another just not eaten out very often. Firstly we hadn’t booked but was greeted with a smile and given a table, he remembered the drinks we like! Poppadoms and chutney tray, perfect, mint leaf mixed platter, perfect! Faultless! We chose mains we had never had before and couldn’t complain, I wanted a dish but it was lamb and they changed it for me, presentation is so good and food is fresh and tasty. Totally recommend the mint leaf, great staff, great food �

Been for the 3rd time now and it’s been fantastic every time. The Thali (the big platter in the photo on this page) is incredible value for money and is plenty of food (trust me, I can eat!).



The food is always delicious, none of us have had any complaints and we’re usually a party of 5/6 so they are always consistent.



Surprisingly nice and impeccably clean inside even though it’s just off th A46 you can never hear the cars which is a bonus!



Brilliant food, excellent value, fantastic stuff and a great atmosphere. One of the BEST Indians we’ve ever had. Would highly recommend The Mint Leaf and more specifically for new customers to try the Thali for a good selection and variety of different foods 😊👍🏻

Basically I cook Indian food, I go on courses and eating here you will not be disappointed as every dish is made fresh and I have not found anything commercially bought apart from the standard poppadoms.

This restaurant makes your high street Indian second rate.

We went this evening for the Thali night. Staff members were brilliant from start to finish so 10/10 for service. We were checked by staff a couple of times during our meal but did not feel intruded upon. They were excellent and clearly took pride in their customer service. I am not good with spicy food but the waiter advised they could make my food milder so I took this option. I requested a Zinfandel wine but as this was not available by the glass the waiter suggested a pinot blush ... this was a refreshing change for me and I really really enjoyed the wine. Not too dry for someone who drinks zinfandel. All in all an enjoyable experience.

Visited here on valentines night with my husband. Drinks order taken on arrival but waited 25mins for food order to be taken! Food was absolutely delicious and plenty of it! However, the restaurant was quite cold and radiator(next to our table) wasn’t on! So not sure that the heating was on at all!!! I needed to use the ladies which was absolutely freezing!!!! Came back shivering!!! I understand that the staff are running around serving customers, therefore they get warm/hot but the customers are sat down and will feel the cold more easily. Our visit to your restaurant would have been more enjoyable had we been sat in a warmer environment and I think you need to consider the comfort of your customers.

Your food is delicious and we would love to visit again, but with the above in mind will be leaving our next visit until the weather is much warmer.

Me and my boyfriend went here for our anniversary meal on a Saturday evening a few weeks ago. It was busy, but not full, there were some empty tables. The food was brilliant but the services wasn't amazing, I am not sure if there was a staff member off sick of something after reading all of these other reviews? We sat down at 7.30pm and didn't get our starters until 9.30pm, so counting in the time it took us to sit down and order, we were waiting just over an hour a half just for the starters. No one came round to our table to check if we were ok in this time either, we had to go up to the bar to ask for more drinks when we ran out. When the food came we couldn't fault it though, the food was amazing. Not sure we would go again out of fear of having to wait so long for our food, but we will probably order a take away at some point in the future �

First time ordering online for delivery. Delivered on time but not very warm and food well below average. Sadly, I won’t be trying again.

After eating in here a few times, its been nice, so we ordered a big family take out last night, and two of us have been quite ill last night and today.... I have informed mintleaf privately, and the only way they will do anything is if we both visit a doctor (not helpful as its a Sunday and Bank Holiday tomorrow)... As im a fussy eater, I only ate buttermilk chicken and the chips, so I can only assume it was the chicken.... Pretty glad im a fussy eater now, and didn't eat more :)
