Missoula Montana Bar & Grill - Nottingham Description
Missoula is not a restaurant, nor is it a theme bar, nor a music club or cocktail lounge - but we do all of these elements beautifully. We take our name from the town of Missoula, the Seat of Montana in North America, so our menus are a journey into something new to the high streets of Britain, delicious dishes inspired from 'the big sky country' - Bison, Trout and amazing beef steaks and ribs, coupled with sides such as American style salads, skin on fries and twice baked potatoes.
We offer a fantastic range of cocktails, alcoholic milkshakes, beers and wines - some new flavours, mixed with some American classics, in an atmosphere brought alive by the recognisable sing along melodies or American based music; live or background, and within stunning authentic Montana interior design which creates an environment that is completely new but really welcoming.
The key factor to Missoula is hospitality, and it is this that steps us apart - we want your whole experience with us to be filled with the friendliness and we hope to offer all of our customers an experience like no other on the British high street.

Went on a busy Saturday night - arrived at 8pm prebooked 'Stag' meal for sixteen. Most meals already preordered to 'help' the Restaurant. Staff were pleasant enough, but Service was very, very slow both to get drinks and the food. The food was very nice from my point of view - starter and main just right - didn't have a dessert as we ran out of time! as we had other pubs to visit. A few of the group were disappointed with their burgers. If you need to visit the loo plan in advance as you're on the first floor, and the loo's are in the basement! two storeys below. Overall a little bit disappointed, mostly due to slow service.
The food was excellent the service not so but that was not the fault of the waiting staff it was because there wasnt enough of them to run the shift ... we was aked if we wanted a jug of water it never came, the table was under a light that didnt work, which realy the management should make sure that all was in order before they opened or just not seat anyone there, we asked for a candle which we did eventually get and a too long wait for drinks .....

Starters great (mixed tapas style).
Confusion over my main meal (who shares a salad?!) so I was without my dinner until the rest of the table had practically finished. The superfood salad was also missing at least 3-4 of the items that had been described on the menu. Which left a small disappointment on what could have been good.
Went for a work meal night out last night. We were greeted by a young man named Bob, it was his first night and he was fab! Such a good experience to be served by him. The blonde woman however.. was rather rude and on several occasions throughout the night made us feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. The first incident was when she was walking past and i said oh excuse me id just like to ask about my meal as i have a bad allergy... and she said rudely "urm. i cant hear you." But made no effort to come closer or listen to me, so that didnt give me much confidence about my safety at the restaurant, which was displayed when one of the girls at our party rang up prior to confirm she was allergic to gluten and needed a gluten free meal.. and confirmed again once at the restaurant but when it was brought out to her, her meal had dressings and sides on that contained gluten.
I also asked for some extra bbq sauce for my new york chicken to which i got the reply "look im not being awkward. But theres none left, you ate the last of it for your starter"
Yet I asked someone else and they asked and there was loads left.
We were the only people in the restaurant yet still had to wait 25 minutes for drinks we ordered meaning we had no drink with our meal. Even when leaving it was an inconvienience to pay seperately. Bob waved us all off but we didnt get so much as a thanks and bye from the blonde lady. Understandable that we all have our off days but the service really put a dampner on the evening unfortunately. Amazing restaurant and nice food, would just have been nice to have it served with a smile.
