Mizan Therapy addresses conditions involving our reproductive organs, digestive system and emotions. The organs within the pelvis are supported and allowed to move by the muscles and ligaments that surround them. When these muscles and ligaments become over-contracted, they can cause pain and pull bones and organs out of place. Often, these displacements are subtle and only apparent to an experienced practitioner. Part of a treatment involves the assessment of pelvic organs in order to determine likely causes of presenting signs and symptoms such as heavy /painful menstrual bleeding, fertility problems, PMS, lower backache, constipation and frequent urination.
