MK Community Shop (Westcroft) donates profits to three local charities: Brook, the Samaritans, and MK CIL.

MK Community Shop (Westcroft) donates to three LOCAL charities.

These are:

•Brook, which has over 50 years of experience in working with young people. It is the leading voluntary provider of sexual health services, outreach, education, training, counselling, and advice for young people under 25 years of age.
The service is open access, and available to all young people regardless of gender or orientation.
In addition, Brook offers a broad range of education and training packages to young people and professionals, and offers specialist support services for children and young people who are victims or at risk of abuse or exploitation.

•The Samaritans, whose main objective is to offer support to people in Milton Keynes and its surrounding area who are suicidal, despairing, or in distress. The service is provided principally through telephone contact, email, and texting, although face-to-face meetings are also offered.
It receives no funding from central or local government, and is totally responsible for financing its own operations. The service is therefore heavily reliant on the support we provide with our donations.

•Milton Keynes Centre for Integrated Living (MK CIL), which helps those with disabilities to live independently. Their trained volunteers, who often have disabilities of their own, can assist with answering any enquiries related to disability. Topics may include benefits and assistance in filling out related forms, equipment, holidays, transport, support groups, and radar keys for sale.
