'Moon Shrine'. Natural materials placed beside the Observatory in Moor Park, Preston. I didn't realise until I had finished that the plinth I had made this on is a memorial to a young man called Jamie Barclay. So Jamie, I dedicate this to you x

Last of my 'Free to See' mini art pop ups. 'Evolution' placed on the plinth of a sculpture by the wonderful Barbara Hepworth @ St. Ives!

'Evolution' : a Free to See mini pop up of my collaged pebbles. Left in a very special place in St. Ives ready for someone to find.

Interesting serendipity at the Virginia Woolf exhibition at Tate St. Ives. Full moon tonight. This white marble sculpture by Barbara Hepworth had the over-lapping circles reminiscent of 515 work, plus a circular indent or crater on the reverse side. Mobius is the name of this crater on the dark side of the moon ....

Met a kind gentleman on the snow covered beach who was happy to take one of my Free Finds up to the chapel on the Island in St. Ives. I wonder if anyone will find it?

A 'white out' today at Tate St. Ives. Placed some Free Finds for creative souls to find. Wonderful Virginia Woolf exhibition with dynamic variety of work. What a pleasure .... especially the Alfred Wallis sitting near to Picasso. Happy times xx

I was fascinated when painting this picture, to see a face appear, sideways on, in the upper green area - just to the right of the tree. See below for a close up, but I've called him 'Mobius'.

User

Why the name Mobius? Well, this face 'materialised' when I was painting a very different painting. I noticed this figure, side on and just high lighted the tones to make it clearer, but didn't actually create it myself. I've called him Mobius.

Busy putting the finishing touches to my latest batch of collaged pebbles ready for my first Art Pop Up in Cornwall next week. More details to follow.

Busy working on my first ever Mini Art Pop Up. I'm starting at the very beginning with the idea of Evolution. Where have our species come from and what are we evolving into?
