We did a cocktail masterclass for a hen party and had an amazing time. The bartender was fun and engaged with the group the whole time. The food served was more than sufficient for everyone and the staff were very pleasant and helpful! The package was excellent value for money! Would definitely recommend Mojo for cocktail class and we would certainly return in the future when we are in Manchester!!

Simply the best good time bar in the country....great tunes, amazing staff, banging drinks and check out the food too!! The chicken wings are off the scale!!

I organised a cocktail masterclass for a hen party! We had the bar to ourselves upstairs and the barman was absolutely great! He was chatty and good fun! We made 4 cocktails and inbetween each one we could sit and chill out with our drinks! We also played a couple of games and had a couple of shots. After this, the barman took us downstairs to booths where our food was served. As we were eating, the barman came down twice just to check that we were okay. Great value for money as we got 5 cocktails and huge food platters! Would recommend and will defo return!

I booked the mojo masterclass for my 30th birthday. We had the best time ever. Neil was fantastic, and the whole experience was so hands on. Was well worth the £30. We got so many drinks and had so much fun. Thanks again Neil for helping us kick off the celebrations ��

Great place! Was my hen party on 22nd October went went Mojos at the end of the night and didn't wanna leave!! Music is amazing atmosphere was fantastic can't wait for another night at Mojos!!!!

Brilliant afternoon visit to MOJO. Eight of us landed there in need of cocktails and feeding. Well we were not disappointed. This is a very cool place with friendly and helpful staff. We were looked after very well and the food and cocktails were delicious. Will definitely be coming back. Excellent!

After being let down by the black dog ballrooms we were let down even though proving we had paid and pre booked a cocktail ail master class we arrived at mojos and they saved the day the staff were great and accommodating and looked after us 100 percent I can recommend mojos They were fantastic

A little bit expensive but lovely, quirky bar with fantastic wall art and very attentive staff. Absolutely loved the video screen music. Nice clientele too. Really enjoyed it and highly recommend.

I was quite surprised that I had such a fab night as it's not my normal scene, all the staff were friendly and polite..... only one downside was we had booked 3 booths for a party and as the night went on random members of the public took it upon them self to move us out of the booths moving our coats and bags onto other seats causing a bit of concern even with the reserved signs up they didn't care just moved our stuff. Apart from that we all had a really good night and didn't leave till the death would recommend this Bar if going out with a large group of friends.

EDIT: Even with the problem described below, Mojo's have replied to me in a very timely manner and seem to be taking the matter very seriously. With this in mind and seeing that they do not stand for this kind of experience, I wanted to change my rating and not let it be swayed too heavily by one bad moment.



Unfortunately I have to give a low rating despite an overall good night. This is due to one barmaid working there today who ruined it for multiple people (not just my group). A person next to me asked for their receipt as they felt the price was a bit more than they expected. The barmaid retaliated by telling a group of girls next to this guy that 'he was just cheap' and to ignore him. I was honestly shocked. When it was my turn to be served, this woman decided that because I was stood next to the guy who asked for his receipt (which he should be given regardless of asking, can not believe this was an issue) that I would not be served by her at any point. I had been inside the place less than 15 minutes, queued at the bar, spoke to nobody. Appalled, can't believe staff would even think to treat people like this.

Myself and a few friends were out last night, the door staff were extremely rude. We all went out from work, all work for the NHS, all Nursing staff, we have never been spoken to like that before, if we were to speak to members of the public like that I think we would be out of a job. It doesn't matter what job you do, no one deserves to be spoken to in such a rude and dismisive manner. My self and some colleagues were asked for I.D, we are all in our 30's and 40's by the way, we definitely don't look 18 or under, so whilst we were talking to the door staff, a group of younger people went in, all in there 20's a mixed group of people about five of them, just like us, and not one of them was asked for anything, yet we were made to feel very unwelcome.

Went here last night on a Hen due.. did a masterclass in the upstairs room don't remember the guys name but OMG it was awful ... made cocktails that more a less everyone left as they were vile, there were no athmospher wat so ever with this guy no banter etc, had to sort our own entertainment before we all fell asleep. Food wasn't good either . Won't be recommending this place to anyone!!

Our party of 8 arrived early evening on a Saturday, first impression was the hideous smell in the place, a mixture of sweat and cheesy feet, a bit like an over-ripe teenage boy's bedroom. We stood at the quite empty bar and were totally ignored by the bar staff who continued stacking the fridges while we looked on. After about 10 minutes we left. Music sounded good but non existent service and the stench meant it was a big no no.

My brother and I got kicked out of this bar few hours ago. The bouncer walked us out of the bar saying a staff saw us selling coke. I'm a tourist on my vacation in the UK, I got a masters degree a great job I don't need to or ever would sell drugs in my life. I believe a customer or the bouncer made up this story to kick us out of the bar plainly because we were blacks which obviously makes whoever cooked up this story a pitiful racists. Not all blacks are drug dealers, shame on this establishment. I feel sorry for the owner, this is bad rep on your bar.

I went to find my friends that were already there, waited in line for 15' and when i was about to enter Mojo the doorman asked me how many people were in my group. When I told him that I was the only person waiting to enter but my friends were already upstairs he said I cannot enter without explaining why. I waited a bit for one of my friends to come downstairs and when they told him that I was with them, he replied that I cannot enter the place because I was kicked out for being drunk!!! I replied by saying that I never entered the place and that they can verify this from the CCTV recordings. I also told him, in a very polite way, that I would like to talk to his manager but he ignored me completely...

Door staff were awful. First time in Manchester at the iron maiden gig. We got out of the taxi a party of 4 and a brash doorman with beard and ginger hair said you are not coming in. I asked why and he said your just not coming in!!! Was it because we had my iron maiden jackets on? Was it because we just wernt welcome? Was it because we had tattoos? No explanation given. Shame seeing as it was advertised as a place to go before and after the gig. One awful reception I will tell you. And i don't appreciate the doorman laughing at us making us feel like idiots while people looked on. Could totally understand if we all had a skinful and couldn't walk straight bit we wernt. :(

Can't believe people have rated this place a 5! Might have gotten over the foul smell & stayed if I'd gotten served. Guy behind bar clearly saw me waiting I even spoke to him, he was too busy messing with shot glasses to actually serve me tho, waiting wasn't an issue if there were other people waiting to be served but there wasn't, it was fairly quiet! Music was great but left after waiting 10 minutes & found a bar where I could actually get a drink

We visited on Saturday for my hen party.

We arrived and were ignored for a while, after 20 mins we were given our arrival drinks ( which were awful) then we were left for a another 20 mins, until a young lad come back to the bar. We asked what was happening as we were all bored and fed up of waiting for the bar man to run off screaming I can’t deal with this. After a couple of mins another member of staff came over and said this man had already done a few cocktail making classes and was fed up he was having a breather and will be back shortly. He did return and took us upstairs, the class was boring! Drinks were awful. We were literally just given a bottle and told how much to put in that was it! No fun about it. We were then rushed back downstairs as food was ready... although we didn’t have much time upstairs making cocktails. The food was poor, One burger was pink inside. None of us ate! We ended up leaving at 9pm so we had not even been there an hour & half. £50pp and there was 11 of us.. absolute rip off! I’m gutted as it was my hen party, no effort made! Only plus was that the bouncers were a laugh! Very disappointing mojos, I thought I’d be pushing to come back here but I definitely wouldn’t. Also a member of staff approached us and told us we owed money for the cocktail class.. this wasn’t the case and my sister proved this with the emails that the full amount had been paid, fair enough he apologised but my sister was embarrassed as everyone close by was listening to this!
