What is Molluscum Contagiosum?

Molluscum contagiosum is an infection of the skin and is highly contagious. The rash is spread through close personal contact with someone who is affected or by sharing towels, flannels, clothing, etc. It most frequently in children and young adults; however it can affect people of any age. In many cases, molluscum contagiosum will go away on its own without treatment. However new bumps may appear as old ones are clearing up, so it can take 12 to 18 months (or longer) to clear completely.

MolluDab® is a topical treatment which helps to kill the virus which causes molluscum contagiosum and removes the bumps far more quickly than leaving the condition to resolve of its own accord.

How to treat Molluscum contagiosum with MolluDab®

•Dab the MolluDab solution onto the molluscum bumps twice a day for 14 days or until the bumps become inflamed.
•Stop using MolluDab® after 14 days. If no inflammation is apparent consult your doctor.
•Wait for the molluscum bumps to heal.
•Suitable for adults and children over 2 years of age.
•The bottle should be discarded 30 days after being opened.
