In 2005 Matt Lockhart and Paul Rowbottom set up 'Monaco Marquees' with a vision in mind to give their customers high quality products at affordable prices whilst making a commitment to a high level of customer service. This simple business ethos was the foundation of unexpected growth over the first two years of trading making Monaco one of the most reputable and recognisable Marquee Hire firms in Surrey and the South East.

Over the first few years of trading they found that some of their customers would only like to hire out furniture and catering equipment. This was then the inspiration behind their second company 'Surrey Event Hire'. Using the same simple business ethics; of quality and affordability, 'Surrey Event Hire' is now growing in size and reputation.

In 2009 the team was joined by Sophie Harper whose expertise lay in Catering and Event Management. To utilise her wealth of experience 'Quite Simply Catering' was born offering their customers simple, great tasting food for their events.
