One of the best places I have visited. Very reasonably priced. Staff helpful and gave talks on the different species at staggered times . Toilets clean and kept clean throughout the day. A must to visit .

I love this place. Big fan of the show. So much better than a for profit zoo. We spent 5 hours there, all the talks were fantastic. All the animals are clearly well cared for. Such a great day out.

I love their mission and the protection of a wide variety of primates. One of the chimpanzees was very stressed while there, which saddened me greatly - which was probably due to some idiot teasing him. It is a very reasonable entrance fee and the good was quite cheap. I'd have just like to have seen more docents or advocates for the animals to educate people.

Quite peaceful on a Monday morning early October but we were surprised how many children were there with grandparents. Some good viewing areas of monkeys and apes inside and outside. Toilets clean and lots of them. Drinks reasonably priced. We did not eat. Good talks by staff.

I went to monkey world because my partner always wanted to go there for a long time. To be honest I didn't think I would enjoy the experience but to my complete surprise I loved it. The best bit for me was the orangutan's, especially the young one. He was a handful for the older ones and played to the crowd, I could have easily watched him for the entire visit. But the rest of the different types of monkey was amazing as they all had a wonderful take on life. I would recommend a visit once in your life to see how much hard work the people who run the place, have put in to give the monkeys a good life. 10 out of 10.

Monkeys, monkeys and more monkeys! And apes. Great place to see and learn about our simian friends. They have a huge number of rescued animals and do a lot of conservation work.
There's a large play area for the kids and the refreshment are fairly reasonable.
The only negative is the gift shop is too narrow and is really awkward look at things.

A lovely place to visit with or without children, it is so nice to see the primates are kept as near to a natural habitat as possible, if you have got children with you there are some great play areas, there are picnic areas but also places to buy food. It is a very well kept place. One of the nicest things they have are life size sculptures of different primates for the visual impaired/blind visitors so they can feel them to get a better idea of the size of them, my daughter loved this (she is blind)

Such a fantastic family oriented activity. One of the only captive animal centres I feel ok visiting. Wide open spaces for your own monkeys too. Very cheap for a day out. It's great to see humans giving back to many species we have hurt and destroyed.

The enclosures for the animals were really big and looked like the animals were really taken care of. Loved the wire tunnels linking different enclosures above the paths for the animals to use!

The play areas for kids were amazing. They've really put a lot of effort into it.

Plenty of space for bringing your own food to eat outdoors.

Mostly outdoors but lots of shelters where you can stay dry and watch the animals.

Looks like it would be very busy in the summer!
