So now we will tell our story ...............

Monroe’s wants to acknowledge with thanks the tremendous support we have received from the local community and beyond. Especially we are gratified by the fantastic African ex-pat communities in and around the area for their support and encouragement. But this has not been just an African venture: hundreds of local people have come to sample cuisines they have never before experienced. And we want to thank the many members of the local Asian communities who have been quic...k with enthusiastic assistance.
Sadly, Monroe’s remains closed, a fact which saddens us immensely. We are embroiled in a dispute with the leaseholder of the property; unfortunately we are only sub-tenants. We want to assure our friends and patrons that we are doing all that can be done to resolve the issues, but we are dealing with difficult and intransigent people. We hope to be open again to serve you soon. We appreciate your patience during this difficult time.
