Moonbeams After School Club

We have had a lovely Half Term at Moonbeams. We went to Dymchurch Fair & Amusements , Shorne Wood Country Park and also had a fantastic Forest School day with Les Langley. As always we have loved being outdoors, rain or shine. See you on Monday Moonbeamers for the Inset Day! x

The Moonbeams Enchanted Garden is looking AMAZING! (If I do say so myself! 😇😂) The Mud Kitchen is now in, as is the Fire Pit. The Moonbeamers are going to LOVE it! Best Project EVER!!! 😍❤️ Thank you as always Les Langley!

We had a lovely addition to our Holiday Club today as our friend Les Langley ran a competition for us!
The Moonbeamers had the opportunity to guess what was being carved from a large log; no clues were given so their imagination ran wild!
The Moonbeamer with the first correct guess would win a handmade toadstool seat with their name engraved in it!!! 🍄
... We had some fantastic guesses ranging from Dinosaur, Lion, Eagle, Alien, Throne, Wolf, Snake and so many more!
The winning answer was....... a snail. Huge congratulations to Miss L from Year 5! x

Day 6 with the Moonbeamers was just lovely!!! It was so nice to be outside in the sunshine during our visit to Lower Lees Coastal Park in Folkestone.
When we returned the children were most excited as we had a 'Guess the Carving' competition hosted by our friend Les Langley. Congratulations to little Miss L in Year 5 who won herself a personalised mushroom seat! 🍄

Day 5 with the Moonbeamers involved a visit to the cinema, a fab park visit, a spot of chainsaw carving (not by the children!) and a woodland walk.

Day 4 with the Moonbeamers was spent at Dymchurch where the children enjoyed the rides, the arcades and a blast of fresh air on the beach.

Day 3 of the Easter Holidays at Moonbeams was great. We enjoyed cookie decorating with Mrs B and a spot of Den Building in Kings Wood. 😍 Enjoy your weekend Moonbeamers! See you on Tuesday! xx

It was another good day with the Moonbeamers today! We had a lot of laughs as we bowled 🎳 (Well done 'C' for an outstanding score of 125! We then spent the parents hard earned money on the 2p machines 💰 before blowing the cobwebs away on Herne Bay beach 🏖 and at the park. Sleep well Moonbeamers! Kerry and I sure will! 😴😴... See you tomorrow for Day 3! 😘

Having attended a Forest School training session last weekend I am really looking forward to opening 'Moonbeams Enchanted Garden' for the children to visit at my home. Just imagine my excitement when I found 'Country Clobber & Old English Tools' in Faversham today!!! I literally can not wait to get the children in there! No pressure Les Langley! 😂
