The hotel is beautifully located with great facilities for everyone. The food is little expensive but the quality is very good. The staff are friendly and helpful overall well worth a visit

Stayed here for 2 nights with our two children (one and three). The hotel has everything you could possible need when going away with little ones. Not once did they get bored, there was so much for them to do and it is in a lovely setting. My husband is in a wheelchair and was able to get everywhere as well. The food was excellent and the service exceptional. Thank you for a lovely time.

Fantastic. The best family hotel I've stayed in in the UK. Friendly, helpful staff and a warm welcome from Snoopy the dog. So many activities for children and a lovely crèche. Delicious food. Very clean, (bedroom floor was vacuumed daily and I saw public area soft furnishings being steam cleaned on more than one day). A home from home in a relaxed, non-intrusive way. Wonderful. My son loved searching for fairy doors; there truly is a little magic here.

Lovely family hotel which caters for children and adults. Rooms are all individually furnished. Facilities include three swimming pools, a crèche, children's cinema, skittle alley, indoor play areas. For adults there is a spa, and good restaurant.

Loved it here. We parked up and went for a walk from here and had a drink before travelling home. It was a lovely spot for an summer afternoon drink. They had a good selection of drinks. Pet friendly. Lovely lawns and views. Staff we friendly and attentive. Family friendly environment. Nice looking restaurant. The building is lovely and the common areas are styled in vintage traditional furniture. Is well worth a visit.

My wife and I had an amazing stay with our youngster. The room we stayed in was a little on the small side but we had a great balcony with a view the water. The historic hotel is beautiful and we nicely decorated. I really enjoyed having drinks by the fire with the other couples we met during our stay. Daycare services and activities were all great. Highly recommend staying here.

Nice staff, accommodating, has pretty good tennis courts that are hardly used so I recommend those. Overall pretty good hotel.

I spent a few days at Moonfleet Manor last week. Unfortunately the rooms are very outdated and in need of redecoration. In fact the whole hotel inside and outside is in need of serious renovation in my opinion. Our room, bathroom and corridors were not particularly clean. The room itself was very small, had very poor lighting, an old rickety wardrobe door that would not stay closed and tinted windows to the outside view which made the screnery outside look very drab. Also they did not provide biscuits in the room and the tea in the room wasnt of a good quality. The hotel room walls have no soundproofing (in the part of the hotel we were in) and every sound in the next room could be heard especially someone on their mobile phone at 3am! However, on a plus side the food in the restaurant was first class as was the service. I also used the spa although they call it a spa but only has treatments and no other spa services, but is really a bit more like a doctors surgery compared to others I have used recently. I had a very hurried massage which was not relaxing at all. Very disappointing.

The Moonfleet Manor is a lovely hotel which has something for everyone. The resident dog Snoopy is a real character and for us the highlight of the say. The evening meal was outstanding and far better than I was expecting. I just surprised they have not put their chief forward to win some awards. I will definitely go back when I am next in the area.
