Went last night to see life of the party was great night and enjoyed it only 2 cars there lol .......... But take no notice of web site no food available as advertised on site and screen could do with an update as had some rips in it but didn't bother us well worth the visit though

Went for the first time tonight and absolutely loved it. I prefer it to the actual cinema! Will definitely be booking again in the future!

User

We love coming to the drive in and prefer it to going to the cinema.

Windows down slightly so the windows don’t steam up, a jumper and blanket each and plenty of munch from the shop!

Packets only disturb the people on the car, the sound is great and when there is a Groupon offer in it’s even better value too!

We’ll keep coming

My wife and I loved it. Got there half hour before the film started got right at the front and had no probs with sound or the screen. Will be coming again!

Me and my wife went to the drive in cinema at Diggerland.

We didn't know what to expect but weren't disappointed.

I would recommend to anyone.

The attendant was polite and a nice guy.

One niggle is that 'Thick ignorant' people think it's ok to have lights on.

We saw a few with headlights on and of course rear lights which is very distracting. You are trying to look at the film screen and all that your eyes see is either rear red lights or headlights or both!

I must stress that the attendant was great in telling people to turn them off or he fitted black covers.

However now and again the 'Thick ignorant' people put them on again.

This is a 5 star review and I whole heartedly recommend it and we will certainly be going again but my serious advice to the proprietor is to kick the 'Thick ignorant' people out who flout the no lights rule.......which is why I refer to them as 'Thick ignorant' people because the 30 foot high screen tells them no lights before the film starts.

Last night was our first time at a drive in movie and absolutely loved it.

Friendly staff and great site

One slight negative was the security light which randomly turned on but we will definitely be returning for a great nights entertainment

Thank you Moonlight Cinema

Had my first visit and had a great time. Wasn’t too sure what to expect but enjoyed it immensely. Only downside was the security lights for diggerland kept coming on which was very distracting. Also there is only one toilet for customers to use and the queues can get pretty long!!

Came to see The Greatest Showman last night and we had an amazing time!!! They said gates open 30 minutes before but they let us in about an hour before and it meant we were right at the front!

We took duvets and snacks, they had a radio station playing loads of old style American music before the film started too. We didn't try the food as we'd already eaten but they didn't seem that expensive in comparison to a normal cinema. Would definitely come again

User

Came last night, really good really quite only 3 cars in total. Just booked again even dogs enjoyed it

User

Amazing!!!!!

We took a duvet and a bunch of pillows, we took snacks and hot water bottles.

Arrived 10 mins before gates and got placed at the front (but probably due to the size of my fiat 500 lol!)

We reclined and snuggled down and had one of my favourite date nights that my partner and I have ever had. It was a perfect evening, we were lucky enough to be one of the 50 that snapped up the half price offer too so for £13 you really couldn’t have topped that.

Week before my birthday too so thanks moonlight for making it so special

Went to the drive in cinema 13th October, after reading comments was wondering about the car headlights but the staff were brilliant most cars headlights don’t turn off so the staff had head lift covers but due to the wind they offered radios instead so the cars were turned off and you listened through the radio. Only issue I found was the security/sensor light on the diggerland building which I know for H&S they have to have them, the problem was they went off but then came back on which was distracting especially as we were in direct line. If they stayed on all way through it wouldn’t be much of an issue. Other then that fab time and would go again, thank you.

User

We've been twice now and had a great time. Be aware that they do not serve any food or drink as advertised though. Also the last time the movie was 20+ mins late starting with no explanation. Other than that fab!

We went for the first time last night and the experience was brilliant. We took our own food and drink (even a microwave burger wrapped up to keep it nice and hot) and it was excellent being able to drink a coffee and munch through crisps without disturbing anyone else!

I was concerned before we went that the sound would be a bit 'dodgy' dropping in and out of reception etc.. As it happens the reception was perfect and the sound was superb... Some of that is down to the quality of your own car stereo of course !

The picture was OK, as we were in a 4x4 we were at the back so it did seem a bit small but still good!

The only downside and reason for not getting five stars is other cars with their lights on all through the film - why do people not know how their own car works? We sat behind one with one rear light on all the way through which was a distraction for me (ended up putting a packet of peanuts on the dash to partially block it!)

The attendant was walking around at the beginning and even offered to cover our front DRL's which I told him would go out once I turned the engine off (as we were just running the air con for a minute before it started!) but as soon as the film started never saw anyone and once the sun went down (early in the film) it was obvious and they could have gone round and spoke to people then? Or just covered them over as he tried to do with mine!

Other than that was a great experience but you have to pick your film carefully, I would say its no imax cinema, but overall excellent and looking forward to coming back with blankets and pillows next time

User

Enjoyed whilst echoing the issues with other cars lights. I was also looking forward to the burger vans etc as per the website, where was the food? Good job I took some munchies and a couple of drinks but was also looking forward to hot grub

User

Amazing!! We went for the first time last weekend to see the greatest showman and had a fab time. It was great doing something unusual. The only downside was so many cars with lights still on and staff not caring. It makes it very distracting and puts a slight downer on the experience.

User

The setup itself was fine but there were three or four cars with their headlights on that created so much light that certain scenes were unwatchable. It never fails to surprise me how stupid people can be. There should have been somebody walking round making sure all headlights were switched off.

User

The radio station was a bit hit and miss could really have done with a burger van or something for food as that was a real let down over all not bad could be a whole lot better

User

Erm where is the film?! Took our money for this evening's showing, the place is deserted and had no notification to let us know. Tried calling, surprisingly no response. Pretty poor customer service. Please respond to arrange a refund.
