Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Man Ho who held a ceremony only in our Outdoor Gazebo at @moorhallweddingvenue a few weeks back before heading off to Royal China, Canary Wharf for their family banquet 🇨🇳

‼️ IMPORTANT UPDATE ‼️
I am delighted to announce that I am due to have my first baby in March 2019.
This will not have any effect on our wedding season and those weddings booked, however as we are a family run business, I have decided to close from January 2019 up until the start of our wedding season so that I can enjoy time to myself leading up to the birth & also time with my baby once he/she is here. We have worked tirelessly every Saturday and Sunday this year from Jan...uary right up until we close for Christmas & bookings for our La More Suite have been busier than I ever imagined. My family & friends hardly see me so it’s important for me to take a bit of a break in the New Year therefore our La More Suite will not be available for bookings next year (baby showers, early years parties, christenings etc)
We are predominantly a wedding venue so we will still be taking bookings for weddings (although remaining dates are limited).

In honour of #organicseptember here is Ava enjoying some of the tasty treats that the garden has to offer 💚 As well as raspberries, you can find apples, figs, rhubarb, blackberries, strawberries, mulberries, quince pears, gooseberries, redcurrants, blackcurrants & plums 🍇 🍈 🍉 Mummy Gray made a scrumptious apple & rhubarb crumble on Sunday using the produce from the garden after our roast 😋

I work in the Public Sector and I can count on my hands, how many have heard of Moor Hall. This was the beauty of it. Nestled through country lanes sits a private road leading to Moor Hall. Awaits a beautiful stately home, acres of landscaped gardens and the most amazing marquee you could ever imagine. Jodie and her family have transformed their once family home into just that. They are credit to one another. Their sheer dedication and hard work is hands down 10/10. Making your day as personal to you and accommodating every guest, making this such a unique place. Our #TBT today takes us way back to November of 2012…just 7 months after the plans started to open our home as a wedding venue in 2014. The marquee had been erected and we needed some photos to start the long process of getting our name out there. A cold, wet, windy day, 2 models and a photographer later… we had our first ‘photoshoot’ under our belt. Every year we strive to improve our offering and since this photo was taken, we have extended the length of the marquee, replac...ed the soft sides with glass and bi-folds, added a decking area to the end of the marquee, widened the front entrance and much more! Onsite accommodation and our new outdoor gazebo are just a few of the further additions made each year – keep your eyes peeled at the beginning of next years wedding season as we work hard over the winter period to improve the venue even more! Looking back on photos like this make us extremely proud to see how far we have come, and how much the venue has gone from strength to strength with bookings increasing each year. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support as our journey continues, it wouldn’t be possible without your likes, comments, shares, referrals, feedback and reviews. “THE MOST AMAZING WEDDING VENUE” I can’t thank Jodie and her family enough for there efforts time and support throughout my wedding they were beyond helpful..... the venue is beautiful well organised and made all my guests feel at ease everything was run on time and smoothly ...... I loved the grounds the ceremony room the marquee everything was done how I asked Jodie and her family were extremely attentive and my own guests even commented during my wedding on how well it was run I said it before and il say it again “I generally feel sorry for anybody who does not choose moor hall as there wedding venue” just stunning!!!!! We had our wedding at Moor Hall in June and our day was perfect. It is a great venue with gorgeous grounds, we had so many lovely comments from our guests, they called it a hidden gem.

The perfect venue is not just having an amazing setting but it is important to have great staff as well. Jodie, her family and the rest of the team helped to make our day special. Always on hand to answer any questions and adding that personal touch, I felt like I was talking to a friend rather then being a customer. We couldn't thank you enough x

We got married at Moor Hall on 8 October 2016 and can honestly say we had the most amazing time in the most perfect venue! We had (and still have almost 7 months later!) endless comments from our family and friends about how lovely Moor Hall was, how wonderful all of the staff were, and how smoothly the day went. From arriving in the pink room with my bridal party at 9am on the Saturday until leaving as Mr & Mrs at 11am on the Sunday we were made to feel so welcome and relaxed. Nothing was too much trouble and we received such a personal service, which is very different to many other wedding venues that we have been to. We didn’t have to worry about anything throughout the whole day, and were amazed that everything ran so smoothly, but that is obviously down to Jodie and the rest of the staff being so great at what they do. We honestly couldn’t have asked for the day to be any better and there isn’t one thing that we would have changed. All we need now is for one of our friends to get married at Moor Hall so that we can experience it all over again.

On Saturday 21st July my husband and I were married at Moor Hall. We first booked this venue is April 2015 and it has been incredible to watch how the place has improved over the last few years. Jodie and her family have put a massive amount of effort into making this venue perfect for anyone looking for a venue that allows a real personal experience.

This hidden gem deserves much greater exposure than it gets and everyone that came to our wedding remarked upon the relaxed atmosphere and dedicated professionalism of all the staff at Moor Hall. Our dog was allowed to cameo briefly for some photos and beer from Palmers brewery in Dorset was served all day; just a few of the personal touches that made our day perfect.

Special mention must go to Jodie for all of her behind the scenes work. She was always on the end of a phone or email to deal with any queries, problems or general freak outs I had. It was almost like having our own personal wedding planner.

Our wedding was the best day of our lives and it couldn’t have been anymore perfect.

As a wedding photographer I find myself all over Essex and neighbouring counties. A registrar told me about Moor Hall some months ago and said it's a great venue... then a videographer... then a DJ... I arrived with high expectations and keen to see what the fuss was about.

This venue is run by a family... Mum, Dad and Daughters. It's set in beautiful grounds and has alot to offer the couple and photographer on the day.

The day went seamlessly. The staff really care about the day and ensure everyone is happy and catered for. This is a very special quality for a wedding venue and something many lack.

I congratulate Moor Hall on delivering a personal and totally professional service as a family unit. It was lovely to see and I look forward to meeting you guys again soon ;-)

I am so grateful that my sister found your venue, she showed me your page on facebook when I started looking for somewhere to have our UK reception for our wedding in Cyprus in June 2016. As soon as we viewed I knew this is where we wanted to celebrate our wedding with our family and friends. Every inch of detail is perfection and we were in awe.



From the perfectly arranged grounds, the blissful view of the sunset, the vintage gardens, the exquisite marquee, the delicious food, and the service that came with all these things was just beautiful.

We got married at Moor Hall on 29th July 2017 and cannot thank Jodie and her family enough for the fantastic day we had. From the minute we booked the venue Jodie was always on hand to help and nothing was too much, she is extremely professional and friendly. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and all our guests continue to comment on how beautiful the venue was. We even had an unexpected guest show up and Jodie managed to sort out a chair and food as though it was nothing. We had the most special day, thank you so much again for everything you did for us. We got married at Moor Hall September 2016, there is not 1 bad thing I could say about this venue, a true hidden gem! From starting the planning to the day after the wedding, everything ran smoothly, we can't thank Jodie and the team enough for all the pressure and stress they took away from us, everything went perfectly! They have honestly thought of everything, from every perspective! A genuine, relaxed, family feel, makes the venue feel extra special, it made the day even more special to us and will always hold a special part of our hearts! ��

On Saturday 21st July my husband and I were married at Moor Hall. We first booked this venue is April 2015 and it has been incredible to watch how the place has improved over the last few years. Jodie and her family have put a massive amount of effort into making this venue perfect for anyone looking for a venue that allows a real personal experience.

This hidden gem deserves much greater exposure than it gets and everyone that came to our wedding remarked upon the relaxed atmosphere and dedicated professionalism of all the staff at Moor Hall. Our dog was allowed to cameo briefly for some photos and beer from Palmers brewery in Dorset was served all day; just a few of the personal touches that made our day perfect.

Special mention must go to Jodie for all of her behind the scenes work. She was always on the end of a phone or email to deal with any queries, problems or general freak outs I had. It was almost like having our own personal wedding planner.

Our wedding was the best day of our lives and it couldn’t have been anymore perfect.

I had my daughters naming ceremony at Moor Hall yesterday and it was just the most amazing day ever. Jodie and her Family went above and beyond to make everything absolutely perfect. Had my Baby Shower at Moor Hall on Sunday and Jodi and her mum worked so hard to make sure it was perfect and it absolutely was! Most stunning and accommodating venue I have ever been too! Throughly recommend for any special occasion � thank you �

As soon as we pulled up at Moor Hall we knew this was where we were going to get married. It’s the most beautiful venue with stunning grounds.

The help and guidance from Jodie from the first viewing to moment we drove away as husband and wife was brilliant. On the day Jodie and her team ensured that our day ran as smoothly and perfectly as possible.

As soon as we arrived at moor hall it was a dream come true we both New straight away this is were we wanted to get married. From start to finish Jodie was there all the way. Her and her family made the day run so smoothly they were always around to lend a hand. Everything was just stunning, wonderful...I could go on forever. As a wedding photographer I find myself all over Essex and neighbouring counties. A registrar told me about Moor Hall some months ago and said it's a great venue... then a videographer... then a DJ... I arrived with high expectations and keen to see what the fuss was about.

This venue is run by a family... Mum, Dad and Daughters. It's set in beautiful grounds and has alot to offer the couple and photographer on the day.

The day went seamlessly. The staff really care about the day and ensure everyone is happy and catered for. This is a very special quality for a wedding venue and something many lack.

I congratulate Moor Hall on delivering a personal and totally professional service as a family unit. It was lovely to see and I look forward to meeting you guys again soon ;-)

I am so grateful that my sister found your venue, she showed me your page on facebook when I started looking for somewhere to have our UK reception for our wedding in Cyprus in June 2016. As soon as we viewed I knew this is where we wanted to celebrate our wedding with our family and friends. Every inch of detail is perfection and we were in awe.



From the perfectly arranged grounds, the blissful view of the sunset, the vintage gardens, the exquisite marquee, the delicious food, and the service that came with all these things was just beautiful.



All our guests called it a perfect little hidden gem. I was bombarded with inboxes asking where I had my reception, and I cannot recommend it enough. Jodie was so helpful, from making my pink reception drinks possible to allowing friends and family to help on the day. I have the best memories of our special day and Moor Hall is a huge part of it all. I wish we could do it all over again. To anyone reading this you will not be disappointed, and please enjoy my pictures.
