Went yesterday for a High Tea and it was amazing , only let down for me has been the scones ( dry and got a funny aftertaste - baking powder?? ) but everything else has been very tasty , staff very friendly and attentive, worth the money and not to forget the gluten free version for one of us looked lovely and she really enjoyed it , thanks very much

Very good alway get take away so no the food is great but eating in the restaurant made it so much better great place to just chill chill chill with amazing food

My husband and I visited here on Wednesday, to be greeted immediately by a very friendly gentleman who looked after us throughout. The food was out of this world, and I can be quite a food critic when it comes to Thai food!! The service was so friendly and attentive I could not recommend this place enough!

The food was so delicious couldn't fault it, staff so friendly nothing too much trouble they even changed a few things due to an allergy. Looking forward to returning. It was refreshing to see people happy in their jobs. Keep up the good work

Absolutely amazing night last night our table was beautiful the lighting and decor was beautiful, the food was 5 star and so was the service we where really well looked after by our waitress, will definitely be returning thanks for a great evening �

Absolutely amazing food! Would recommend to anyone who wants to give this place a go! Food was well presented and perfectly cooked. Staff are very friendly and polite also, will definitely be returning soon!

We only popped in for a cocktail last evening but whilst sitting outside decided to stay for a meal. The food was excellent both in quality and price. We opted for the £29 per person set meal and it was outstanding. The only drawback was that sitting outside we got the impression it was a case of " out of sight out of mind" as the service was terrible. The starters came out quickly but we then waited 45 minutes for our mains after the starters had been cleared and after waiting another 45 minutes after our mains I went inside to find staff to come and clear our plates and bring dessert. That being said the weather and view made it bearable and we will definitely be going again and again.

Sloppy service, messy presentation, chicken satay good, inedible duck, tough beef and we had to keep asking for pudding. "It's on its way" errr... no it wasn't..its as if we weren't there. Its a shame as we were really looking forward to it. So won't be going back or recommending it. Looks really lovely from the outside....not worth the £80 we paid

I’m sad to leave this review but unfortunately I feel that I must let the owners know what experience we’ve had at the restaurant this evening.



Moran’s has been my favourite restaurant since it opened and I have been here many times, had amazing food and even better service.



However after this evening feel I would not return or recommend to anyone.

We reserve visits to Moran’s for special occasions tonight being for our 6th wedding anniversary.



We ordered the set menu but made a couple of changes which the chef was happy to do. Unfortunately when this arrived one of the chicken dishes meat was off. You could smell it and unfortunately my husband ate it.



We called over a waiter who was apologetic and offered another dish of our choice to make up for the chicken, we declined but he insisted that we could choose another so we chose another beef dish. To be honest I’d had enough of the meal by then. The rest of the meal was fine (I can’t say up to usual Moran’s standard) but we finished the meal nonetheless.



When we received the bill I noticed an additional £5 charge for food on top off our set meal prices. I asked the waitress what it was for and she said it was for the extra beef dish we had had!!???



As you can imagine I said I was not happy to pay as we were given gone off chicken and had been offered an alternative, she called over the “manager” who said we were being charged for the dish, we explained what had happened.....he simply said our chicken is fresh so could not be gone off.



After much discussion I told him we would not be paying for the dish but we’re happy to pay the rest of the £170 bill for 4 of us. He basically called us liars about the chicken and stormed off.



He returned 5 mins later and threw the bill down on the table and started walking off. I told him I thought his customer service was appalling and that I would be leaving a review to which he walked up to the Bar and exclaimed he’d been threatened with a review!!!.......Seriously!!



He acted like a petulant child. I told him on paying the bill that I would be speaking with the owner to which he replied I am the owner!! Now I have visited this establishment many times and this jumped up guy in the grey suit is 100% not the owner. When I confronted him with my knowledge he stormed out to the kitchen.



As I said this was my favourite restaurant but after tonight will never return �
