Morecambe Visitor Information Centre

We recently had a day visit to Morcambe, whilst on holiday in the Lake District, what a mistake , Eric would turn in his grave if he could see the town,empty shops scruffy streets some of the side streets looked like something from a third world country.We couldnt find any public toilets and ended up going to Morrisons to use their facilities as were many other people. I think this must be the worst seaside place in England and on this showing won't attract many summer visitors. There is a lovely modern hotel on the front i cannot understand anyone wanting to stay there in this town.
