Over the past few years I have had many things repaired , resized or rhodium plated, also recently had some sterling silver bangles made which were excellent. My husband has also bought me jewellery from here and also had various watches repaired. Always had excellent service.

Amazing jewellers go above and beyond to help you. Had my bespoke wedding ring made here. I got married abroard and as a special touch they even text us on our wedding day to say congratulations. Would definitely recommend!!

Had last year a diamond bracelet, that was unrepairable made into fantastic drop earrings and also made into earrings with pearls in and a pearl and diamond pendant? Loving it all. I got stethascope rod which joins onto the ear piece engraved. Brilliant job and did in the day within 2 hours. Extremely hard to find a place which did this engagement so i was very happy with the turnout. They sell diamond jewllery and also adjust jewllery (rings etc) sizes. Friendly staff and willing to help

I can't even begin to describe how annoyed I am!!! About a year or so ago I took my late fathers wind up watch in to be repaired, they told me it needed a service and that something was wrong with the mechanism. It would cost £75 to be repaired!!! I would never usually spend this on a repair but as it was my dads it meant a lot to me. I was a student at the time so it took me a while to save up and to pick up the watch. A few months later I could finally afford to part with the money and picked up my lovely working watch....... Yes it worked!! For about an hour. Then the pin fell out and I couldn't wind it up! So I took it back and they tried to charge me a further £35 for a new pin! I couldn't beleive it and told them I wasn't paying it, after a few unpleasant conversations with several rude ladies, they eventually saw my side of the argument and agreed to do it for free. when I picked up the watch they were very unfriendly and made me feel bad. Anyway! My watch worked again! Brilliant........ Until about 5 months after. It's now not working again!! I no longer live in Sheffield so I can't take it back but what an awful, expensive service. I can't believe I spent all that money on such a bad service. Not only is my dads watch broken again, I feel cheated by this place. To anyone who is about to use this service; DONT!

I cannot begin to tell you how angry and disappointed I am by the recent service I have received from Morris Bywater. I bought a necklace as a Christmas gift for my wife, and on doing so I asked if I could return it if it was unsuitable (I am typically bad at choosing the right gift). I was told that I could get a full refund if it was returned within a couple of weeks, or a credit note if it was later. Seemed reasonable, so I bought the gift.
Unfortunately, on Christmas day it wasn't exactly what my wife wanted. So I thought 'no problem' I'll return it as soon as I get chance for a refund. Today, just 8 days after Christmas, and, crucially only 4 working days after Christmas, I was refused a refund. Instead I was offered a credit note, and the explanation that a refund will only be given up to 7 days!!
We have used Morris Bywater many many times for jewellery purchases and repairs over the years, and have endorsed their service to family and friends. However, after the despicable treatment I have just received, we will not use them ever again, and will urge family and friends to steer well clear.

I've been having pieces (mostly highly complex) designed and made since I was a wee lad, and there's plenty to choose from in store if you'd rather buy there and then.

Repairs are done onsite, without ridiculous prices and waiting times, and the same can be said for the bespoke pieces, of which almost anything is possible.

Being a member of the Bywater family, upon reading this review, you may think my opinions may be slightly biased. However, be you family, friend or otherwise, it is undisputed that the team at Morris Bywater Ltd. are professional, resourceful, reliable and above all, affordable!
