Went last night and the food we had was really good and tasty, served on hot plates. Finished off with fantastic desserts. Staff were very friendly. Will definitely go again.

We came here yesterday lunchtime for my brothers birthday meal, the staff were very hospitable, the food was very enjoyable and of great value. We all had a brilliant time including the 4 young children who enjoyed the colouring sheets and playing with the toddlers activity cube. We would definitely come back again when we come back up that area

Took my friend with me who has never been before and she enjoyed the food and said it was a lovely place. I would consider her hard to please because she knows a thing or too about food. She would definitely recommend it to others and shed go again herself

The sizzling rump steak was delicious. The staff very nice and they take the armed forces discount card

Newly refurbished pub looks lovely. Just been tonight, hubby had the chicken tikka masala which he really enjoyed. I had the chicken and steak combo with a jacket potation, upgraded to the ribeye with it and when it came it was a massive portion and cooked to perfection. Used to visit regularly in the past and will definitely return again very soon.

Looking great after the refurbishment, loved the steak pud so glad to see that on the menu,had a great night (normally don't go out during week) will see you Friday (and probably Saturday). Cheers Brian

Absolutely awesome, good food, great service & reasonable prices. Only wanted a snack & came out stuffed ��

Went for a friends birthday, atmosphere was good as it was busy, ordered 3 meals, 2 came out, but of a wait for the gammon we ordered, was lovely and good sized, the only critic is that the fried eggs were over cooked, not hard to fry an egg, will definitely call in again

Went down to have a look after the refurb. Looks amazing, menu is looking good and food was very good. Kids enjoyed everything.

We go regularly much nicer since redecorating clean. Helpful staff good value for money

Good food and nice staff but people always seem to push in at the bar, perhaps having a separate area for food orders would help with this?

Had a nice meal 🍴. Had the black something steak was nice but far too many onions on it and they would have been nicer fried apart from that it was nice, young guy behind the bar was very friendly

First warm day of Spring, my husband and I decided to pop in for a pint and enjoy it outside. It was busy...everyone else had the same idea. He went in, stood in line at the bar and literally had to fight (yup, words were exchanged) other patrons to be served next as people were coming in and charging to the front. Sadly bar staff didn't notice those that had been waiting and served those jerks who had just come in. He waited 15 min for 2 pints. It really upset him and just about ruined our evening. You guys need a queuing system or bar staff that pay attention.

I Ordered a steak asked for it rare came out charcoaled got about 3 bites of steak rest were fat with a load of raw onion under it which it didn’t specify on the menu (can’t stand onion) my chips where dripping in oil, the jd sauce not got nowt on TGI’s



I ate the food simply because I was starving definitely won’t be coming here again.. only for a drink maybe

Food was warm, chips over cooked, sweet and sour chicken was nuggets with sweet and sour sauce.

Mum ordered fajitas, the fajitas came with dry with charcoaled onions and then new uncooked onions and peppers thrown on the top. We complained and they didn’t hesitate to provide a refund and a free desert. We had heard good reviews since reopening but we won’t be going again for food.
