We have volunteered to be a drop off point for this years Chesterfield Shoebox Appeal 🎁🎄🎁
The shoebox appeal is a Chesterfield based charity that works with local people in need. At its roots, the aim is to provide shoe boxes of essentials and gifts at Christmas, so that local charities can distribute them to people in need.
Our team are already busy making up boxes and we hope to collect as many as possible!

We would like to say a huge thank you to all the team at Mortgage1st. This is the second time we have used their services, this time for a remortgage for a new fixed rate.

Jon, who arranged our mortgage the first time round sent us a email 3 months before our fixed rate was due to expire so we had plenty of time to consider our options and best deals available to us.

We used the services of Natalie at Mortgage 1st to find out first mortgage. From the very beginning Natalie was very efficient and super helpful with all our questions. Being first time buyers, it was great to have someone who could talk us through every step of the mortgage process. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone who is unsure of going it alone!

We have recently finalised a new mortgage and received a brilliant service from Andy Lunn at Mortgage 1st. Having gone to Andy at his previous employer we knew that he was excellent at his job but this has only been reinforced by the service we have received from him this time around.



Andy is thorough, open and quick to keep you in the loop on all developments, which is exactly what is required at what can be a stressful time. He found us the best deal which suited our needs and finalised this in no time at all. From then on he regularly kept in touch to see how the purchase of our new house was progressing and would answer any queries I had.

My boyfriend & I had the great pleasure in dealing with Megan Smith - this was our first-time buying and Megan made us feel very at ease and comfortable with the decisions we were making. Jon helped us as first time buyers and secured us a very competitive mortgage product 2 years ago when we were declined by our personal bank who we had been with for 20 years.



Jon promised to get back in touch in the run up to our fixed term ending and sure enough we have just remortgaged with another provider onto a new fixed term, the process was even more straightforward than our initial mortgage application, and Jon was as usual excellent in keeping in contact and explaining what options were available to us, giving us total peace of mind in what otherwise could be quite a stressful process.

Jon Stone was my mortgage consultant and he was excellent. My financial situation was such that I felt I would struggle to find a mortgage, this is were Jon came in. He allayed my fears and quickly found a suitable product. He kept me regularly updated. All my questions were answered. What I also appreciated was that Jon didn't work your typical 9am to 5pm, so I wasn't waiting days for a response. I would recommend Jon and Mortgage 1st to anyone, thinking about buying a house as they will be there from start to finish.
