Marimba is a local singer from South West London, and has been exposed to a variety of quality music from a young age, as her father’s pride and joy was his great record collection; always playing anything from classical to jazz: Stan Getz, Gilberto Gil, Earth Wind & Fire, Randy Crawford, Quincy Jones, Donny Hathaway, Marvin Gaye, Motown, Soul, Funk, Jazz etc.
Marimba was part of an 8 piece band for 2 years, one of 2 vocalists siinging Motown & Northern Soul covers eg. Harlem... Shuffle, I Can’t Stand the Rain, It Takes Two etc, performing regularly at private functions and parties. She also sings jazz, mostly early jazz covers /standards with a bit of Joni Mitchell thrown in, singing with pianist, sax, double bass and bass guitar. Favourite jazz voice – Ella Fitzgerald. Also part of a disco band singing at private parties and weddings.
You can expect to hear songs such as 'When Sunny Gets Blue', 'Manhattan', 'Cry me a River' and other well known standards by George Gershwin, Richard Rodgers, Cole Porter, Antonio-Carlos Jobim etc.
Andy Jaques has played bass guitar with many well know musicians, travelling round Europe and the States with various rock, funk, reggae & African bands. Signed to Polydor once he was asked to play with Ian Dury & Carol king, and is now turning his hand to jazz in a new collaboration with Marimba and Cheryl as a jazz trio.
Cheryl Horabin has been on the West London jazz scene playing jazz guitar with a number of musicians for many years. In this recent collaboration with Marimba and Andy she puts her hand to any jazz genre with ease and sensitive expression, her rhythmical Latin numbers are especially a joy to listen to.

What a brilliant Italian restaurant! I took my friend for her birthday and we both had amazingly fresh pizzas and garlic bread. Very polite staff and nice atmosphere. Thank you for great the food and a very enjoyable evening. We will be back!! :-))

The food is lovely. Staff very friendly and attentive. They do Gluten free Pizza and pasta which is great for me. Good portion size and very tasty.

Mosaico is synonymous of quality in a very detailed way!

Fabrizio has spent his all life learning and working in the food and restaurants industry, acquiring and developing fine and elegant taste!

Also Fabrizio comes from an Italian Town where the 2000 years old Mosaics represent the magnificent expression the old tradition, not only in history, but also in food! Congratulations for the new place!

Just had a delicious meal here, both the lamb and pork shanks were delicious and fell off the bone. The girls had pizza which they loved and the desserts were delightful. The staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful. The owner Fabrizio was very welcoming. All this time it has been open I hadn't realised it had turned from a cafe into a lovely restaurant. Highly recommended and will be returning very soon!

It is a warm, nice place, i really reccomand it!!! the atmosphere is lovely, with soft light in the evening and the food is excellent!

Newly opened, Mosaico is a hidden gem in Whitton near Twickenham. It is the place for everyone who cares about good foods. Authentic south Italian dishes. The foods are super fresh and very aromatic. You must try Parmigiana and lasagna. They also have fantastic desert menus. The best cannoli I have ever tasted in my entire life! Fantastic Italian ice cream and great coffee too.



Lovely Fabrizio, the owner of the cafe and his team welcome you so warmly and friendly. This is the cafe that you would love to have in your neighbourhood.

Charming host Fabrizio served up a truly authentic Italian dining experience. The food was succulent and the wine selection complemented the subtle flavours of each dish. We started with a platter of cured meats, hot camembert, burrata and mozzerella. Next up, wild boar torteloni and mushroom ravioli. We ended with lamb flank with mash, and baked salmon, having eaten too much and wimping out on dessert. However we managed to sink some sambuca and lemoncella with our expressoes before we wobbled out the door. A memorable evening for the six of us.

Been to this Sicilian restaurant many times with family and friends. Good food, service and very friendly helpful staff.

My family and I had a lovely meal here on September 1st. The Pizza's were gorgeous and plentiful. The price was great and the staff friendly. What more could you want from a family friendly restaurant.

The staff are friendly. Food was not particularly tasty, but edible. Not much choice.

The food was great, small menu but quality! Ambience is good, but staff should be Italian if they want to promote being an Italian Restaurant , not bad on the whole and desperately needed for Whitton high st. a quality restaurant !

The food is pretty good here but there is no atmosphere in the restaurant and it makes the whole dining experience very ordinary. Such a shame. Service was ok and prices are not bad. Shame the 50% off your food deal was very misleading because of the terms and conditions.

You need to sort out your staff and service if you want to maintain a good following, today a rugby day 3 staff who did not know how to toast bread or serve. Breakfast - poached eggs were disgusting and toast I got was returned by lady in front of me for not being toasted.... Then I got it and waiter was annoyed that I would not take it, mumbling in Italian. Three tables complained and answer I got was "its not my fault if staff problems.... " it will be a long while before we go back which is a pity as generally good. Sort yourselves out.
