Another wheel weld disaster came to us today. Brought to a local tyre shop with the phrase of “my mate fixed it for me” Here at mostly metal we have the relevant experience and can professionally repair cracked wheels with the correct materials at reasonable cost. All of the initial “repair” had to be removed and fixed correctly Your wheels are a major safety element of your vehicle. Why chance it.

Today we have undertaken repairs to a very old set of bronze ladder fittings. Here at mostly metal we are able to undertake some of the more unusual repairs found onboard yachts and small craft. Today we completed the repairs to some very old wrought iron railings and welded gates. The posts were rotten, as were the bottoms that had become buried. We managed to repair the railings and replicate the posts saving our client considerable amounts compared to replacement railings. The railings were blasted to remove all the rust and the old paint, powder coated in white and replaced. The entrance to this property has been returned to its former glory while preserving the history.
