Q- "When meditating do I need to sit crossed legged in a meadow or by a stream, sitting on a rock?”
A- "You will see many photos portraying this image if you google meditation and view related images. The truth is you do not need to practice meditation in this way. Of course you can if this posture and place is right for you, but unless you find it comfortable sitting unsupported with your legs crossed, we advise you to simply sit in a chair, somewhere where you will not be disturbed. Making sure you are upright in a chair and not slouched on your sofa is a great way to start your practise, rather than trying to sit on the floor getting your inflexible legs to cross, (we can’t all be yoga masters!)

Looking for something to do tomorrow? Come to Chappel village fete! We have created crazy golf for people to enjoy. Not been to Chappel before? The fete is a couple of doors down from a lovely pub called The Swan. There is also a childrens park behind the fete. Or you can take a stroll in the surrounding beautiful countryside. A fab way to enjoy this gorgeous weather. ☀️
