Nissan Pathfinder in today with abs issues. No speed signal from the right rear wheel was stored in the abs module. No signal from sensor. 2 volts present where there should be 12. Wiring inspected and corroded wire found. Repaired and retested. Signal within spec, codes cleared and abs light out. Job completed with no guess work or parts fitted that would of never fixed the issue. We test, not guess with customers money.

Land Rover week again. Range Rover Sport tdv8 in for engine change. Discovery Td5 in for a clutch change. We specialise in Land Rover and Vauxhall Vehicles! All makes and models cared for too.

Citroen C4 in for injector replacement, coding and software update of engine control module. All done using citroen dealer diagnostic equipment via the citroen online portal. No need to visit the dealer.

Mk2 Jaguar in for jacking point replacement due to excessive corrosion.

Another day another body off a Range Rover Sport

Few Land Rovers in this week for service and maintenance. We specialise is Vauxhall and Land Rover vehicles. Ex Vauxhall and Land Rover technicians backed up by full main dealer equipment and diagnostics.

2017 BMW X3 in for tow bar with dedicated 13pin electrics all fitted and programmed to the car.

Land Rover series 3 in for some timing and tuning tweaks.

Vectra C 3.2v6 in for poor starting. Fault has been traced to a faulty ECM. New genuine unit supplied, fitted and programmed all in house.

Not our normal work in this week but we work on all makes and models.

2017 Audi A6 Allroad in for tow bar module programming. Done with dealer Odis system. No need to visit the main dealer.

Honda Integra Type R in for 4 wheel alignment. Customer has carried out a full underfloor restoration and fitted a fully adjustable suspension kit. We set this up to the customers exact requirements for track days.

Transit Connect in today, another transit another corroded and broken wire. Battery light on dash, fault traced to broken wires.

Ford transit in for engine light on the dash board. Mass air flow code stored. Quick check of live data shows actual air flow does not move or get close to Demanded air flow. Next the oscilloscope comes out to check feeds and signal output of air mass sensor. No 12v feed to sensor present. Fuse ok and quick strip back of loom shows the fault. A corroded and broke wire. All repaired and working correctly. No new parts required.

2011 Vauxhall Zafira in for running issues. No new parts required on this car. A simple software update for the engine ECU is all that is required. All done in house using genuine dealer tools via our own Vauxhall login.

Ford Fiesta in for a carbon intake clean.

BMW X5 in for engine replacement this week.

My other half has asked my to copy/paste his TrustPilot review of the oil cleaning changing and cleaning machine you just used on his van on here because he's not on Facebook, so here it is!



"I'm usually sceptical of these sort of things but logically couldn't see why the oil cleaning process wouldn't work or at least be worth trying. Motor-Tech Automotive in Essendine\Stamford have looked after both my cars and van for years and been great so I trusted their opinion when it came to changing the oil on my 2008 Transit van recently using their new EDT machine.



I work funny hours so my partner picked my Transit up in the afternoon. Normally I could take the wheels off a vehicle before she drives it (her words!) and she'd struggle to notice the difference but even on the short drive home she said the van was quieter and smoother. I drove it the next day and honestly, I'm staggered. Just idling to warm up is quieter and no sign of hunting like before. Others have said their engines are much smoother low down but mine has benefited throughout the entire rev range. It's​ always felt like it was at it's 'sweet spot' cruising at 72mph on motorways but that's now 80mph and even then it's so much quieter. I'm really surprised by the difference and very, very pleased. Even at the higher cruising speed I am noticing considerably better fuel economy on a long journey I do often.
