I went down for my birthday! And the deal was one night stay including bed and breakfast, light lunch £28 towards dinner which you get three courses out off it !! Full use of spa facilities and one hour treatment. i had a lovely time. Beds was really comfortable, breakfast was amazing!! I absolutely loved dinner. If anything that i was abit unhappy about , it was the pool it was quite small and one off the jacuzzi had broken down so me and my friend had to wait 30 mins to get a chance to sit in there. Which you could only fit in 5 people at a time.
The venue is lovely. The grounds very well maintained and the staff very attentive. They looked after me very well and I would love to go back.
Popped in for a coffee and catch up with some friends in the golf club house.
The food is always excellent but the coffee is 'OK'. Its a great place for a quick snack or lunch.
The venue was beautiful. The room was very nice, a bit warm but spacious and the bed was comfortable. Food was pretty good for a wedding event and the staff was generally attentive. We had a great time and the pool and spa were very good too.
I recently stayed at Mottram Hall for the first time. It has lovely grounds and is a very large grand building. Being so big it is clear it is in some need of a general makeover internally. The window catch in our bedroom was swinging with a screw missing. (280) The room was rather warm and the window was restricted so we could not cool the bedroom down although there was a fan in the wardrobe to use. Breakfast was nice apart from the mouldy bread I discovered. After making staff aware a new loaf was brought out and that was also mouldy. Not what I expected of a place like Mottram Hall. This did spoil my experience somewhat and staff apologised for this. Don't think I will stop again.
Such a beautiful hotel and spa. Would definitely recommend staying here.
However one recommendation for the hotel is, their own use of other services. We ordered a taxi through the hotel from the hotel to Alderly edge which is a maximum 8 minute drive. The taxi company charged us £15 for the trip! We ordered a taxi ourselves back to the hotel from the same point of drop off which cost us £8. This is not the hotels fault but it does make me wonder if they have some kind of contract with the taxi company to which they benefit from. I would recommend ordering your own taxi or at least the hotel should look at changing their suggestion.
We stayed in 2 rooms, due to there being 5 of us which had interconnecting doors between them, this meant we could all stay together. The rooms themselves are extremely high standard! The only downside is that the beds themselves are still a little too hard, which the hotel and tried to fix with mattress toppers.
The spa is amazing, with the use of many steam and sauna rooms! We went for 1 night during the week which meant there were are 10 other people there, which was great.
We used the spa all day prior to checking in and used it before checking out!
The staff were very friendly and helpful and We would definitely stay here again ourselves.
Great experience overall. Fantastic staff and food in the on site restaurant was very good.
This is a lovely hotel in a wonderful setting. Hotel facilities include a championship golf club, gym and spa. The hotel is very busy at weekends with weddings which can impact (slightly) on levels of service but not enough to spoil the our stay.
Lovely weekend in a fantastic location. Very relaxing with great staff. Highly recommended. Comfortable rooms, clean and one of the best hotel beds I've ever slept in. 2 great nights sleep.
