Family New Years Eve Party

Words cannot explain the gratefulness I feel towards the staff at the hotel. I’m very grateful for the complimentary upgraded apartment. It was amazing. The staff at the hotel was so polite and helpful. Food and service was excellent. A very enjoyable stay and look forward to return. Very highly recommended �

What a lovely afternoon at the mount. Words can’t express how nice the afternoon tea was today, service was top notch, your staff are a credit to the hotel & especially Steve! Will definitely be back ��

We had the privilege to attend my nieces wedding there on Saturday. A great day was had by all from start to finish. The hotel is amazing and so are the rooms we stayed in. The food was fantastic as my family are quite fussy eaters but we never went hungry and Steve was quick to sort out any special requirements we had. Breakfast was great with so much choice!!! I could not fault the staff as nothing was too much trouble for them. Steve was brilliant and made sure everyone had a great time. Would recommend to anyone.

We had our wedding here Saturday 23rd and it really was our fairytale ending the staff here are beyond amazing mentioning a few Steph Ryan Steve and Dave these people really stood out the whole day they honestly couldn’t do enough for you the food was out of this world thanks to the chef! Service was spot on and staff always went their extra mile thanks to Nicola and the sales team who had endless emails off me but never made me felt like I was bothering them having seeing this venue 2 years ago We fell in love the moment Nicola showed us into the great hall we both just knew this was going to be our place, 2 years on its still as beautifull

we feel like this will be the venue to stay in look at all their events we loved it that much our guests commented on how beautiful the grounds were and how polite and helpful most of the staff were if your happening to be stumbling across this venue and this review go look at it go spend time here because you honestly won’t be disappointed thank you so much the mount! �

We got married here on 21st December 2017 and it was the most amazing day! Before the day the events team looked after us making us feel confident about our day. During our actual wedding day we couldn’t ask for better service, everyone was happy, helpful and professional. Our guests commented on how lovely the venue and the staff were which made us very happy.



All the food we had for breakfast, the wedding breakfast, canapés, evening food and breakfast the following day was lovely, the beef for the wedding breakfast was especially good. The staff were very helpful, from arranging a viewing before booking, booking rooms, run up to the day and on the day. Nothing seemed too much trouble and because of this the day just went really really smoothly with no worries.



We were also really pleased with the rooms. All the girls stayed the evening before, we were comfortable and well looked after. The bridal suit we had for the evening of our wedding was out of this world! Just gorgeous!



A little final note about the Master of Ceremonies, Steve, what a lovely guy who obviously loves his job, the day wouldn’t have been the same without him!



Our wedding was set in a stunning building, with stunning gardens, with stunning food and wonderful staff. We would whole heartedly recommend The Mount for any event, especially for your wedding day!

We came today for afternoon tea for my mom birthday, I was so touched with the effort they went to by decorating the table and even got a card for her.

The food was absolutely amazing and was brilliant for my sister who is a vegetarian, great selection.

Would definitely recommend afternoon tea at the mount, great value for money and the staff were lovely.

Party night last night with work. Could not fault it! Lovely room, comfy pillows, very clean! The food was excellent, service was too! Highlight was the DJ, great mix of music, the dancefloor was buzzing! Breakfast was also a treat, with that full English to bring me back to life! Thanks for a great night x

Only a last minute overnight stay, nice modern room, really nice old house environment in the reception / bar / restaurant areas, lovely quiet garden to relax in. Staff friendly and efficient, good food. No complaints whatsoever.

I had my baby shower on Saturday 21st July. The staff are brilliant and so supportive, huge thanks to Jackie for staying with us throughout the shower, you were fantastic. Jade a member of the sales team was brilliant in the lead up to the baby shower. The afternoon tea was excellent. Would highly recommend

Had a lovely afternoon tea for my birthday. Excellent service and food. Thanks to Lynn for the exceptional service and thanks to chefs for the beautiful food, Especially the birthday message on the plates. Thankyou to Steve for the informative talk on the history of the mount. Thankyou for the birthday card aswell. Its all the touches that have made our day special and memorable.

Had a fantastic time at the bottomless prosecco afternoon tea. The scones were amazing! Always drink flowing and served with a smile excellent . Highly recommend. See you at the next one !

Beautiful venue...Great Hall is stunning, as are the gardens. Fantastic place for a wedding or event.

We had our wedding meal here on the 22nd July with only close family and a few friends for private dining,the food was lovely,staff were very friendly and did very well in making sure everyone had drinks etc..nothing seemed too much trouble even though there was a bigger wedding on the same day,staff were also quick and efficient,no negatives the evening went very smoothly,only thing was the room we were meant to have for our overnight stay was changed without us being informed,however it was the better room we wanted to start off with so wasn't really an issue,had a great time..thank you to all that were involved and Steve is a lovely man,will be returning if not soon then on our wedding anniversary next year :) breakfast the next morning also was nice x

Rooms are ok but pillows felt like I was sleeping on a brick. Reason for visit was a birthday party. One of the bar staff needs retraining in addition as tried to overcharge by £7�. Buffet was very poor. I know they only asked for chip butties but serving anaemic French fries really!!! Should have at least been proper chips for what they charged. Breakfast was good with excellent coffee, downside the younger staff were extremely slow on clearing tables. Father Christmas turned up for breakfast he was wonderful excellent interaction with the children they loved him.

Pretty good , staff very friendly, restaurant service a bit slow, and the breakfast chef should take lesson on how to cook eggs.

Other than that a very enjoyable stay .

Came for afternoon tea on the 10th of April for my daughters birthday and even though it was pleasant I think they need to rethink their sandwich fillings for vegetarians. I was served a salad leaf sandwich, not a filling I'd tried before and not one I want to try again. Beetroot sandwich, again an odd filling. I also had half tomato and half beetroot, extremely odd and bland. I then tried a tomato sandwich...boring and again unusual. Finally a cheese and tomato sandwich. which was nice. Where were the egg and cress sandwiches or even cucumber sandwich? And in my opinion they should of served any of the other ingredients with cheese to make them more pleasant.

Did private message them but they ignored me.

The place it’s beautiful but it’s only that. The heat at the room was insoportable and there was not air conditioning. The staff it’s not well trained and really slow, they mixed up food in dinner and breakfast. And also don’t pay attention when you are ordering. I will not come back.

Very poor service daughter booked bridal suit for her wedding paid for it in full 9 months in advance confirm a week before arrival that everything was ok only to be told room wasnt available on arrival. Would think very hard before booking here is it worth risking your happiness on the run up to your special day to be treated like this by amateurs.
