My Fiance and I were adventuring around Portsmouth and we were along the beach, we noticed Mozzarella Joes and decided to do lunch here. It was a friendly experience with a lot of families seated , all staff were amazing. The food was American style and so delicious. You accommodated our little dog and gave him fresh water. We enjoyed the experience, as i sipped on my Corona , looking at the view of the sea, the really cool vibey music made the place very pleasant. Once our bill was paid we got a loyalty card to use for future discount, how awesome, Thank you we will be here again.

Have never had to complain about food service or staff here. Excellent portion size, fast service and friendly polite staff. Best pizza in Southsea A****

Had a booking for 21 people and Susie was amazing. Kept in contact the weeks before and nothing was too much trouble. All food was lovely and came out together. The portion sizes were good. All staff attentive and the cocktails were fab! Thanks again!

Great service, food and friendly staff. Food is very reasonably priced and they don’t skimp on the portions. With the sun setting over the harbour entrance the view is lovely as well �

4 adults and a 3 yr old. Food was lovely. I had smoked haddock chowder which was delicious. The service was quick and the waiter was polite and helpful. We all enjoyed our food and will certainly be back.

We came here yesterday 26th March. We had food and milkshakes was really good we enjoyed it. But there was no signs anywhere of a service charge, we only found out when we got the bill.

We came for lunch on Saturday, not too busy with good service. My husband and 4 year old daughter had pizza and I had the burger. I'll be honest I didn't have high expectations but the food was excellent. Homemade pizza and homemade burger. Really impressed and will definitely be eating there again.

Service was super quick at lunch time yesterday! The food was delicious. Our server was really nice! My husband proposed here, & yesterday we celebrated our 7th anniversary. The menu has changed a bit, no chillo nachos anymore. Has gone more American/chip shop not a bad thing, just different. My only complaint is the toilets are pretty grim which is a shame because the resturant itself is lovely. Thank you Mozarella Joes for a lovely lunch

Very limited veggie options unless your satisfied with pizza. Couple of odd swear words used by the waiter when taking our order, not great especially when you have children sat there. For its location you would think it would have a seaside themed menu. Should have known it wasn't going to be that great by only being 1/3 full at 1pm on a Sunday. Obviously only attracts tourists that don't know the area. Shame really.

The food is just as good as last time I came a few years ago but sadly the whole place needs shutting for a few weeks and completely refurbishing. The floor is very dirty and the floor in the toilets is very very slippery because it's not been scrubbed and dried, just continually mopped, and the walls' plaster and paint is flaming off and the furniture looks tired. The ceiling is also flaking and stained and generally it feels a little dirty everywhere you look whilst you're eating which is a little offputting. Service is good and the staff are friendly and the food is great but it'll need a good luck of plaster and paint and bleach before I return I'm afraid.

Sadly to say we didn't get to eat as after 45mins they hadn't started cooking our dinner so we left. Lovely staff service girls and had a previously great experience some years ago. Hopefully it was a random bad slow day but could do with new injection of life and cleaner facilities on site.

Food was good but very dissatisfied with the chips with bacon and cheese sauce as it was burger cheese slices broken up and pieces of bacon put on the top so I can't see how that's a sauce won't be going back

Went with our dog had a large breakfast & coffee no one told me about service charges nor did I see it advertised. Paid £14.06 for meal & drink didn't really sink in until afterwards not happy, won't be going back

Well this was the 1st time of me being taking here for my birthday by my fiancé. I had the ocean combo with an up grade of chips with paprika bacon and cheese sauce. I actually was really disappointed in the chips which I really was looking forward to. The cheese sauce was non existent because it was burger cheese put on the chips and got told by a waiter and the manager that this was the cheese sauce. Then they asked what we expected them to and they said we would not be charged for the chips of £1.50.

Nice venue, nice food, pleasant service, but all spoilt by smoking on the terrace. There should at least be a very clear warning about this.



12.5% service charge is over the top.



Disappointing.

We didn't have a very good experience, we had to wait 20 mins. For the waitress to come over and take our order. It took 30 mins for our drinks to arrive and just over an hour for our food. By this time my 3 children were very restless and they didn't enjoy their visit. I could understand the delay if it was busy but it wasn't. People who arrived after us, got their food and had left before ours had arrived. When the food eventually arrived their was no apology for the delay. We won't be coming back.

We ate here on 17/07/17 early evening.

I was very disappointed with my meal, I had the Ocean Combo -

The fish was luke warm on the outside and cold on the inside

The scampi was luke warm

The chips were luke warm

I would guess that my meal was sat on the pass waiting for my wifes to be ready, as hers was all hot, not good organisation by the chef.

Probably wont go back.
