Went as a group of 6 and the service and food was exceptional. As per other comments about homophobia, myself and my friend our both gay and never felt like this was the case. The staff were amazing
Me and my friend had tea at mr laus tonight. The food was beautiful and service was great! The staff were so friendly and there was a band which set the mood nicely. When talking to who i presume was the manager, i mentioned i worked in a special school, and when leaving he gave me a huge box of fortune cookies for the children at my school! A massive thankyou to everyone at Mr Laus for being so kind and generous aswell as fantastic food!! :)
I've worked in this place, eaten in this place and my girlfriend has been here for about 2 years, and in no way is the restaurant in any way homophobic, or would even think of not serving a gay couple, if people would actually understand, the manager seeb their I.d's and because they were new he'd never seen them before and thought they were fake, also people forget to realise that there were gay people already eating in the restaurant, there were gay staff who actually worked there that day and regulars who are very gay, so if anyone thinks that Mr Laus are against it then they need to stop and understand before thowing insults and bad words around.
Had a lovely time here for my anniversary the women remembered me from last time I came even thou it was a year a go they put our song on and gave us a free pudding with hearts on it :) would defo come back the food was lovely xx
Great atmosphere, gorgeous melt in the mouth food, lovely cocktails...very friendly staff. Really enjoyed my husbands birthday meal their yesterday. Would i go back??? most definitely, i think if i go to Warrington for Chinese again its the only place i would go.....very hospitable indeed :-)
After mixed reviews was a little apprehensive, but it was fab. The place itself is beautiful, service and the food - gorgeous. Best prawn toast I've ever had and the pork and chicken dumplings ☺️
Me and some friends had looked on the internet to see what deals they had on as we had never been but liked the look of the place, it was showing a meal deal for 3 dim sum for £10 before 7pm, so we all decided to go! Got there at 6pm and was told sorry its been changed to before 5pm now, but we got the website up to show it was still saying 7pm, asked to speak to the manager who kept us waiting for 15 mins (while he had the website changed!!!!) to then come over and say can u show us the menu on ur phone, but obviously it now refreshed to say 5pm!! He then refused to honor the deal saying it should have been changed a month ago, in my eyes very poor customer service. The food was amazing and the waiter we had was a joy, however my only gripe was the managers disgusting attitude to paying customers, definately would have spent more money had he just honored the deal, you had 6 paying customers, who were very annoyed.
Went for my brothers birthday meal today and it was over £200. Wasn't worth it at all for what we got, and to then be charged for condiments when salt wasn't even made available is just ridiculous. The staff are friendly but you have to keep reminding them that parts of what you ordered are missing. Won't be going back.
