We went here for tea with Santa and our kids had a great time! The staff couldn't have been more helpful and Santa was fantastic! We will definitely return for more of these events!

We also had the sweetest old boy for our waiter that was so polite and lovely!!

Visited today with mum, and we both would like to say what an excellent meal we had and the scone was also very tasty.. the staff are polite, happy and couldn't do enough for us.

We will return �

Took my mum for afternoon tea our first time there couldn't fault it great value for money lovely selection of cakes and sandwiches staff very friendly deffinetly recomend it thankyou x

Thank you so much mrs potts tea room for letting our son be part of the marshall afternoon tea. Being dairy free we struggle to find safe places to go with him. But nothing was too was too much effort for you all. There was so much choice for him to eat and not feel excluded as we have in the past with other places. He absolutely loved seeing Marshall and we'll definitely be back again soon. Thank you!! Xx

Me and my hubby went on Monday lunchtime we both had a 2 tier afternoon tea it was truly yummy the bread and sandwiches were very nice infact it was all nice and managed it all but was full x loved the decoration of the place too will defo recomnend anyone to come and visit thanks.....🖒🖒

I never got round to wrighting a review but my celiac daughter realy enjoyd the trolls tea was realy worried thinking shes going to be ill due to cc but she was ok no poorly tummy after thank you for makeing her feel normal eating the same foods but gluten free 1happy daughter and 1 happy mummy not haveing to travel miles to fit in thank you.xx

I love this place, it was clean and tidy. Enjoyed the three tier afternoon tea. All the food was fresh and tasty. We couldn't eat it all, so asked for the scone and cream to take away. When I got home I found we hadn't been given the clotted cream, this surprised me as it was a sealed one portion pack. So went out and bought cream so I could enjoy the scone. I still love the place though!

I brought my mum for a ploughmans sharer, the food was extremely prompt as we had pre-booked. Service was excellent. The food was delicious! We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you to all at Mrs Potts xx

Due to a cancellation got to take our little girl to afternoon tea with shimmer and shine. It’s the first time I have been to Mrs Potts tea room and I will be defiantly going back it was lovely, food was fantastic value for money and the staff and service was excellent. A big thank you had a lovely afternoon.

Also my little girl can be a fussy eater but she ate everything and even helped her brother finish his so job well done :-)

Absolutely amazing today for the LOL doll afternoon tea the staff and Mrs Potts herself where so lovely and welcoming ! Food looked scrumpy atmosphere was fab thank you very much for having us xxx

Went with my daughter yesterday. Pleasant enough, pretty decor. Ordered kids box, didn't get what was described on the menu. Not very generous with their sandwich fillings.

Whilst eating my food I watched the kitchen staff. Neither had their hair tied back and after playing with her hair one carried on touching the food. No blue gloves either.

We went at the weekend as my friend booked it for my birthday and have to say we felt it wasn't worth the money she paid .there was cake fancies missing off our stands and when my friend asked ,she was told there should have been choc brownies or similar on but it had been forgotten to put them on ,she said sorry and then didn't even offer them to us to take away and still charged full price.

Had much better for same price and less ,wouldn't go back I'm afraid

We was only people in there all tables were full of mucky pots but staff were too busy chatting, but stayed as it was pouring with rain and I didn't have rain covers, ordered food and asked to clear table, food came and table was still covered in sugar, my son ordered a cake while I fed my newborn and they forgot to bring it over even though we were the only customers in there.

Staff were not very pleasant.

My friend and I popped in for afternoon tea on Thursday just gone, was greeted with a smile and a very polite lady told us to take a seat and come back and order when ready. We sat down and started to notice how unclean it was under table in corners not a very nice start so we got up and left and went to the chippy instead.

Took my nanna and grandad for a treat wish I had saved my money staff was so rude not even a smile whilst serving us scone was rock hard that not even a crumb came off it and then I found a black hair in the bottom of my cake when I complained I was offered another slice Really no I dont think so. I will stick to Gill's tea room in future better quality of food and ataff are happy friendly & very polite

Not impressed. Blue gloves as I understand are for hygiene so why when preparing food would you go to the till take money out to give someone. (still wearing the gloves) then GO BACK to preparing food using the same gloves. Money is one of the dirtiest things you can touch. Won't be going back
