Very helpful staff in this often frantically busy store - A far cry from the usual M&S lethargy.

Food is great quality, but you pay for it.

Cold cans of Northern Monk beer, and a great range of train snacks. Perfect for your journey home :-)

Always overpriced

Expensive but good stuff.

I asked the 'store manager' if they still sold the large bags of Sour Cream & Chili Lentil Curls which I bought from there over a year ago. He said 'we've never sold the large bags'. I know this to be incorrect, so I mentioned that I had bought the large bags from that store before. He went on to trumpet 'I'm the store manager and we have never sold the large bags'. Not wanting to be made out to be a liar, I objected again stating it might have been a one-off but I have definitely bought them from there in the past. Unwilling to accept it might have been a one-off and lacking in any kind of manners, he ignored me and continued stacking a fridge.

Frankly, I'm not one to complain or write negative reviews but with this kind of arrogance from an M&S 'store manager', I will make an exception.

Good selection. Multiple floors.

Expensive, but good for decent quality last-minute food for a train trip.
