We will be hosting a Macmillan coffee morning for all our lovely parents/carers/grandparents on Friday 28th September 2018 at 10am. Children who don’t usually attend on a Friday are more than welcome to attend with their parent/carer to enjoy cake and a drink ! Our children will be baking the cakes for you all to enjoy. We will be asking for your kind donations to this worthy cause x

We love our new sensory light up table! Little Stars were the first to test it out and it was a HUGE hit!! This will provide so many different learning opportunities for children across the whole nursery!

Brain Development Engaging a child in sensory play helps strengthen their brain development for learning, which enhances their memory and ability to complete more complex learning tasks.

A huge welcome to Freddy, Jaxon, Charlotte, Jack, Ivan, Lilly 💜

Today Rainbows made vegetable soup from scratch for the whole nursery to enjoy for tea! Absolutely super super behaviour! We used our reinforced safety plastic knives and were supervised closely by staff. We spoke about why we need to be safe when using them and why! The children listened superbly and loved every second! We spoke about the different vegetables, where they comes from, safety in the kitchen and why we need to stay safe, healthy eating, tidying up afterwards, turn taking and sharing, working together as a team etc! The children were super proud and so they should be. All the children in the nursery absolutely loved it and even had seconds ! Well done our little Rainbows- super job! 😍😍👍🏻 xx

A year ago today, Alex joined our team! What an absolute asset Alex is to our nursery. Alex is adored by the children 😍 Alex has grown so much during her time with us and it’s been lovely to be a part of it! The way you and Nicola run your room is amazing. Super proud xx

This is only my daughters second week, she has settled in really well and asks to go to nursery on days she isnt in. With being a nursery nurse myself i knew what i was looking for in a nursery. My daughter is a confident little girl and it can only help her learn and grow even more which im sure ill see as time goes on.

Our little boy started nursery for the first time this week. I have been so anxious about letting him go. We viewed a few nursery’s and didn’t get a good feel- instantly after walking into mucky munchkins we got a good feel... all the children were happy, some were taking a nap. The staff were all welcoming.

He did 3 1 hour settling in sessions before his first full day. His key worker Rebecca was fabulous and very understanding of how anxious I was. She instantly took to Max and he was happy to go to her. He played outside on his first day which is very important to me. They sent pictures throughout the day. And he came home with a book to let me know how his day went. Highly recommend this nursery and it’s fabulous staff. Thanks to Jen for being so helpful with the process x

Our daughter was at another nursery in Atherton which we felt had considerably failed her prior to and just after Christmas. We agonised over whether we gave the previous nursery the benefit of the doubt or moving her was the right thing to do. We didn’t want to disrupt her routine and the relationships she had built with other children and were concerned as to the impact this would have on moving her. In short, we needn’t have worried, it’s been the best choice we have ever made. Robyn has completely embraced the move and her speech has developed tremendously in just a matter of weeks. She can’t wait to get to nursery in a morning and takes her coat off herself as soon as she walks through the door. The staff have been fantastic in welcoming her and settling her and we can’t thank you enough. Our baby is the most precious thing in the world and we have peace of mind knowing she is cared for when she is not with us. Thank you for taking care of our beautiful baby whilst we work, you all do a fabulous job ���

My little girl Phoebe started at Mucky Munchkins in October and has settled in great! All the staff are fabulous at their jobs and made us feel very welcome from day one! Phoebe loves going to nursery and seeing her friends :) I am extremely happy with her development and look forward to many more happy years here :)

My daughter Isabelle started Mucky Munchkins around 7 months ago after taking her out of her previous nursery that wasn't meeting expectations. Since attending I've seen a massive improvement in her development and I only wish I'd brought her here from the beginning.

I've never had any issues here, the nursery is spotless and clean and all staff are professional and friendly.

I would recommend this nursery to anybody living in the area.

Isabelle loves going to nursery, her key worker Amber is fantastic, she will definatley miss Amber when she leaves for big school in September. Keep up the fantastic work girls!

Mucky munchkins is a fantastic place to work. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Going to work isn't just a chore it's something I enjoy now! I have two boys one aged 2years and one is 8months, they are always smiling when they come to mummy's work. My eldest runs through the door and gets stuck into everything. He wasn't always keen on messy play but has started to get involved now thanks to encouragement from staff. He's played in jelly, paint, playdough and even coloured spaghetti. My youngest also loves the baby room he's always got a smile on his face and is laughing. He loved the jelly play and got stuck right in which I love to see! I'd rather my boys came home with 3 different changes of clothes due to them having fun at nursery as it shows how much they do there and how much they get involved! Fabulous nursery, staff, managers and parents. I'd recommend to everyone!

Moved my daughter here from another nursery in October at 3 and a half years old and can honestly say it’s the best decision we have ever made. In only a few weeks we noticed a massive improvement in her development and she loves coming to nursery. We struggle to get her to leave! The girls can’t do enough for us and she loves them all too.

I was such a nervous mum putting my pride and joy Layla into childcare... we tried a childminder and Layla was very upset and clingy all the time. I honestly thought she just wasn't the right character to go into childcare and was weighing up my options at work and with family to try and fathom out what we were going to do upon my return from maternity. It's such a stressful time having to hand your child over to someone and trust them with your absolute world. I heard about Mucky Munchkins via a friend and had a look around... we then trialled taster sessions and Layla just loved every minute! She has come on leaps and bounds since being there, within 2 months she's crawling, blowing kisses, clapping and now trying to walk!! All of the staff are amazing...very warm, and treat your babies like their own! They give Layla cuddles and kisses and make sure she has a great routine and spends lots of time learning via fun play. I'm extremely happy with the service the ladies provide, Layla gets giddy at the door each day and I can go to work with piece of mind knowing my little girl is in the best care possible! I was so nervous about enrolling my little boy at nursery but he now loves his days at Mucky munchkins! As soon as I visited I knew it felt right such a homely atmosphere all the facilities are brilliant. Finley always has a storey to tell me when he comes home, he’s already learnt and developed so much. Finley is always talking about the staff especially Amber, Shannon and Tracy the nursery chef. For anyone looking for childcare I’d highly recommend!!

I visited Mucky Munchkins twice before Harper started nursery here. As soon as I walked through the door, all of the staff were friendly, informative, interacted with Harper, and instantly put all of my worries at ease. I wanted somewhere that Harper could make friends, have fun, learn, and feel comfortable - Mucky Munchkins ticked all of those boxes. After 10 months of maternity leave together, I was apprehensive of leaving Harper with anyone else. Mucky Munchkins just made it so much easier.



Harper has come on so much, even after only being to nursery 4 times!! She’s settling in well, and the girls are so patient and wonderful with her. They’re only a text away if I need to check in, and I always get a detailed report on Harper’s day.

Hollie started here in November after we had visited several other nurseries in the area. Her first experience at another nursery had put me off placing hollie into any nursery, however a friend of mine recommended Mucky Munchkins. From the moment the door was opened Jen, Claire and the rest of the girls made everything so easy and relaxed. Hollie wandered off into the room and didn't even notice we had left her! She was in her element, smiling and running around. After that moment we knew this was the nursery for her. She comes home with a big smile on her face and I know that she's had a fantastic day with everyone. Her keyworker Chloe has been amazing and all the girls have made a massive difference to my life helping her development especially with her eating. She now eats absolutely anything! We are kept up to date with everything and Hollie loves all the crafts, interaction and outdoor playtime. I know that this is where I will be bringing my son when he is old enough! The girls really care for the children and it's clear they enjoy working at mucky munchkins �

Having never left my 1 year old with anyone before, the thought of sending him to a nursery was a very daunting experience. And this was apparent to the team im guessing but they could not have made things any easier, and I Truely believe this is one of the best choices I have made for my little one.



From going to view, to the settling in period, to now 2.5 months on, everyone always makes an effort no matter what time of day it is. My little ones key worker Alex is amazing as are the other staff even though they are not his key workers, they seem to take a genuine interest in all the kids and the kids seem to love all the staff! I spent sunday listening to my little one saying 'I miss you Alex, I miss you Amber' on repeat!

Clara started here in October and we really had a rocky start. After the first week of being ok, Clara then started to really get upset at drop off. We spoke to Amber and Jen and decided it was best to slowly introduce Clara to nursery and then build up the hours. Dad stared taking her to nursery, as seeing Clara getting so upset was too much for me and it was making Clara worse seeing me upset too �.



Well fast forward to now and she couldn’t be happier going to nursery and she seems to have really made a specia Bond with Amber. She loves nursery and is now on full days. The nursery is a great setting and they really do seem to care. Thanks everyone x

Arlo loved Nursery! The environment and setting is amazing and the staff are so caring and great with the children. He comes home every night absolutely shattered, they definitely keep them busy and stimulated. He claps his hands when we drive onto the car park and adores Amber. He's definitely got a soft spot for her! I would recommend to all parents xxx

Absolutely beautiful nursery with great facilities, my daughter loves the outdoor play area & spends most of her time exploring the mud kitchen & outdoor activities. It's great to see such variety in teaching methods & I can see every week she's learning so much. The staff are lovely & very welcoming, I really appreciate the nursery updates about my daughters day. I feel confident leaving her, knowing she's well looked after and has lots of little friends to play with.
