"When you wake up in the morning, Pooh," said Piglet at last, "what's the first thing you say to yourself?"
"What's for breakfast?" said Pooh. "What do you say, Piglet?"
"I say, I wonder what's going to happen exciting today?" said Piglet.
... Pooh nodded thoughtfully. "It's the same thing," he said.

Went in yesterday with my 7 year old daughter for a nice hot chocolate. The waitress was very helpful (usually have to order drinks at the bar but she came and took our order outside which was so much easier)

Very yummy hot chocs too!

User

Went for a drink with friends yesterday, lovely little spot by the water. We received great service and there was plenty of variety for food and drink. Would visit again.

User

We had our wedding reception here recently and couldn't of been happier that we decided on mud dock. The team their were very accommodating and helped everything run smoothly, the venue looked fantastic and the food was great. Us and our guests had a fantastic day. Many thanks to you all.

User

Received good service and great food. Ambience was quite decent, with a patio that must be great in summertime. However, the one critic I would have is that the beer list is limited.

User

Had a puncture on the way home from a ride at Ashton Court, luckily wasn't far from Mud Dock so popped in with my bike to grab an inner tube. The guys in the shop let me use their stand and pump to sort my bike out. Top Service!

User

Great view, good service, nice food

User

Good food and rather nice craft beer .... lovely location and a really funky decor. Excellent service too. Had a really good evening here and highly recommend it.

User

Fantastic burger, really good quality bun too, chips were awesome. I would have gone for 5 stars but there was hardly any cheese on it, having paid extra for cheese. I’ve changed my mind defo five stars as I really enjoyed it without the cheese, and the service was great. Wish you offered blue cheese X

User

Been wanting to visit the infamous Mud Dock for a number of years. It did not disappoint. We sat on the outside terrace in the sun, enjoying tea and chocolate fudge cake.

User

Always excellent food and service whether we've been for breakfast, lunch or tea and cakes. Today I had the hummus wrap, which was delicious and highly recommended. Thank you

User

Absolutely outstanding service from the guys at the cycleworks. They really know their stuff and will actually try and fix what you have instead of dimly replacing items. And so reasonably priced - I cannot recommend enough.

User

Had the scrambled eggs, bacon and toast. Top tip is ask for beans too........they make their own. Nice beans. Good coffee. Nice beans. I like beans. Try the beans.

User

A beautiful venue, wonderful friendly staff and really good tasty food. I'm just annoyed i didn't have time for dessert as i had to go to The Thekla for a concert. As i intend to revisit again, I'll rectify that unfortunate turn of events. A big thumbs up from me. Another great food venue which I'd definitely recommend to friends, family etc.

User

My food was good. The goats cheese salad starter was tasty and well seasoned. The Stilton gnocchi leant more towards the average side. The Stilton overpowered the lazily prepared dish.

The main worry, however, was with the service. We had booked a table on Saturday evening, which, understandably, was a busy night for the restaurant. Not entirely sure whether they were understaffed at the time, or simply not equipped to deal with such a high volume of customers, but our mains dishes took around half an hour to be collected, at which point we were also awaiting to order some drinks. The staff were lovely and apologetic, but still left me disappointed.

In conclusion, an overall average experience.

User

Had a good lunch today at Mud Dock.. sea bass with sautéed potatoes and greens... however was surprised when plate arrived. The ‘greens’ were green beans and asparagus?! Not sure where they would have been flown in from, but would’ve appreciated something in season. Please pass on to the kitchen/manager. (Also I should probably mention, the sautéed potatoes were crushed potatoes with spring onion.) Thanks

User

Good food, great setting disapointed that there wasnt more healthier options on the menu though. Also very disapointed that service charge was automatically added to the bill.....i always tip but hate it when its assumed i will

User

Fantastic location food amazing. Service was slow and we weren’t offered drinks or dessert Main gripe we were a table of 4 and the glass table barely had room for 2. The plate arrived so hot and was left overhanging the small table. I could very easily have scalded myself

User

What we had was nice enough, but no poached eggs or marmalade for breakfast just doesn't seem quite right. Not In a hurry to go back for breakfast but the dinner menu looked interesting and the atmosphere was good.

User

Thought it would be gr8 but turned out to be shite

Service left a lot to the imagination

waitress didn't understand the difference between beer and cider

Approx 40 min wait for food at 2pm

Food finally came while the waiter at the table next to us fucked down & dropped all the chips

Didn't get a napkin, cutlery or salt & pepper but we did get plenty of sauce thrown in

half the speed of whetherspoons and just under half the quality

The tap water was alright

3/10 might come again
