Sneak peek of the Muddy Mods 2009 2.2 TD4 HST It’s official unveiling is this coming weekend at Billing Land Rover show where it’ll be out in public for the first time. As far as I know it’s the biggest in existence. Steel lift kit with camber correction 40mm front 50mm rear, 20” rims 255/55/20 tyres, plus lots more and much more to follow. I’ll be having a big FL2 push online in the following weeks, so keep checking back.

Lots of Freelander 2 goodies to be fitted. I’m also chief tester. I won’t sell them if I’m not happy to use them myself.

The Muddy Mods R&D Dept. Has been busy for the last few days. This is the first prototype steel lift kit for the Freelander 2. It has a degree of camber correction designed into it. There is no need to disassemble the struts to fit it or elongate the holes in the front wings. I plan to fit it either over the weekend or early next week. I’ll be taking before and after measurements and pictures plus making various tests of Cv running angles at full droop etc. Wheels and tyres to suit are being sorted for fitment next week. Keep checking back as this is the first of many new FL2/LR2 products to come from MuddyMods.
