We’re feeling so very proud. Really until someone points out all your successes you just mossy along from day to day not realising all the wonderful talent that has passed through your hands getting the next generation ready for their personal success story. Thank you Carole for putting this fantastic story together & thank you to the IDTA for publishing it. Congratulations to all our past successful pupils you have done the school proud. It has been, is now & always will be A FAMILY to be proud of. 😘

Such a Happy group. Mighty proud of all our dancers this Comp. Not only have you danced beautifully but such lovey comments are brought back to Miss Mullen & me about how well mannered you all are to your competitors & organisers. Wow wow wow!! We did it. Thank you so very much Jo & Chris & The Marriott Hotel Leeds for all your hard work. Big thank you to Katie Ashby for our special cabaret, singing beautifully some very special songs. There were laughs & tears (as we remembered with love those who were no longer with us) Mr Hale remembered & talked about so fondly. Lots of surprises but most of all some wonderful memories to hold onto. We all had a fantastic afternoon to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of Our Mullen School (family) & mums 90th birthday. Thank you from the heart to everyone for flying in from locally & far & wide to make this such a special occasion. Our love to you all. 😘

Another wonderful achievement for Mullen Theatre Studios in our 70th year. Yesterday was the launch of a new CD The D-Day Darlings “I’ll Remember You” What a wonderful tribute to all our war heroes. Katie Ashby former pupil & D-Day Darlings... director will be singing live on BBC radio 2 today after the 11th hour silence. Tune in & listen to her & Micheal Ball. Congratulations Katie you so deserve this success your passion & determination was & is now second to none 😘

Such a lovely day to remember yesterday. All examination classes open for parent to watch thoroughly enjoyed by all. Beautiful class in the afternoon taken for our children by Martin Howland. They loved you & will practice their pirouettes until they see you again. They all went downstairs busing. Followed by our examination presentation thrilled with all fantastic results. New award this year was the announcement of our newly appointed Dance Captains ... Teigan Avison & Lola Kinard You have both worked so hard with our children without recognition. Thank you Rachael & Danni for your continued excellent hard work, together we make a great team. September & October have been manic I just have my adjudicating in Middlesbrough to do & then we can all look forward to our Halloween madness morning & Christmas celebrations. Oops forgot my birthday!!!

Well this is it we’re into September & next week we’re into show week eeeek!!!!😬 Very long day today but successful. Quick change rehearsals went very well. Looking forward to dress runs next week. Costumes are looking fantastic ladies thank you for all your hard work. Can’t wait to have everyone together. ... Next week I will stress - I will shout - I will get annoyed But we WILL get a fab show.

We are getting there 😊. In the penultimate week of our 70th Anniversary show. Last nights rehearsal filled me with great anticipation this is going to be a great one. Hope all our company will enjoy having lots of family & friends in the auditorium to support them. Miss Mullen & I are looking forward to seeing some faces from all our past years in the business.
