Hello my name is Sharon I am a mum of 2, a local paediatrician and Baby Natal Instructor offering classes for new parents in North London.
Classes are based in East Finchley and I also do private classes - please contact me for details.
I currently offer 3 classes - Practical Parenting, Developmental Baby Massage, First Aid - AND soon I will also be offering pre and postnatal exercise classes

Practical Parenting Classes for New Parents
This is a 3hr class run on Sundays
You will learn what to expect when your baby is first born. Be given information about procedures that happen in hospital - such as delayed cord clamping /Vitamin K injections etc so that you are well informed before the big day. You will also learn and practice how to hold /dress /swaddle /bathe your baby and about all the choices you will have as a new parents i. e disposable or reusable nappies.
You will also have the opportunity to meet other parents to be, chat over tea and scones and receive a take home pack topics discussed during the class as well as safety advice and local classes /drop in centres specific for your area.

First Aid for Parents and Carers
This is a 3 hrs class
In the class we will cover
-How to plan for and deal with a first aid emergency. How to perform CPR and help a choking child. Also how to recognise when your baby /child is unwell - management of high temperatures and burns /scalds.

Classes cost £35 per person and are run over weekend and evenings. I also private classes pre- arranged groups. Please contact me for details.

Developmental Baby Massage
This a run as 5 week block on Thursday or Friday mornings
Enjoy developmental baby massage, holds and gentle movement to support your baby in a friendly and tranquil environment especially created to calm, soothe and relax your baby
