The best night ever at Mumbai spice last night For the Patelvis night he was the best entertainer the food was gorgeous the staff were absolutely fantastic worked exceptionally well and are the best thank you so much for giving us all the best night and giving us all taxis home as couldn’t get a taxi 16 of us xxxx highly recommended

My husband and I were staying in oldham for the weekend visiting family so looked up this Indian for a meal and thought we would give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised it was really busy and we hadn't booked but we were seated asap and though every table was taken the service was excellent and the food cooked to my liking and reasonably priced. The atmosphere, service and food was perfect, the photos on trip advisor don't do it justice as it was lovely inside. Definately look forward to dining their again on my next visit.

Amazing food came up with the family and found the staff to be lovely and very hospitable! Food was like nothing I’ve tasted before very tasty and will definitely be coming again!

So lets start at the beginning at 4.30 we ordered curries worth 25.10. After 1.3hrs nothing....we checked our emails etc and found that potentially we didn't complete the order (our fault). So we did at again and completed correctly(confirmation email etc received).



After waiting nearly an additional 1.5 hours my wife decided to call the restaurant to see what's happening, we got greeted by a gentleman who assured it was in the car and on its way. We hung up and waited. After another 40 minutes I decided to call and the same gentleman seems frazzled and unsure, he swiftly passed the phone to another very apologetic guy, who listened and tried to appease. I told them that due the length of time that I wanted to cancel the order, the guy stated that he was sorry and that he would investigate what had happened and that we could have the food for half price and the. For free .( I stated it wasn't about money more that it was too late now to eat and we just wanted it cancelled).



The guy continued to say that they where sorry and that we where given the wrong info and that they want to make it right and we could have the food for free.







After the phone call, the order arrived after 30ish minutes, the deliver driver arrive with piping hot food and stated it was free, we exchanged conversation covering what had happened and he said that he wasn't employed by the restaurant and a friend of the owner who got asked to swiftly and safely drop my order off!



At this point I was blown away, for a business to go out of the way and do things right is a pure credit, I chose to pay £10 for the order to hopefully repay for some of the cost of the £25.10 order.



Even though that today was an extremely bad experience, In regard to deliver and initial customer service, mumbai spice still stand head and shoulders above the rest of all north Manchester curry houses.



As always the food was amazing, clean, fresh, not greasy and packed full of flavour.



See you on our 1 year wedding anniversary on Augusta 15th 2017.
