With the temperature forecast to rise again next week, we've decided to make our first Summer Activity Sessions - WATER PLAY! We'll have the paddling pools, slip'n'slide and water play tray all out, with our gazebos up ensure some of the play are is in shade! Hard at work at HQ this morning planning loads of summer fun in Buntingford in association with the Buntingford Town Council!

Got an SOS call this morning from a Mummy needing a Stitch costume... today! We didn’t have one, but a quick trip to the charity shops and whirl of needle and thread later... we did! Collected this afternoon, ready for the play tomorrow 😅

Keep cool - stay in the shade. Keep hydrated - drink water. Keep covered - suncream and hats.

6 weeks is a long holiday... but not when they've got so much to do at camp! Fro...m trips and group challenges, to sports and music, dance and drama. We'll be inside, outside and all around the town! They may be (near) teenagers, and too cool for school, but this is CAMP, and it's the place to be this summer (even if they don't know it yet)!

We used Alex and her Mummy SOS creche for our wedding last weekend. We have 2 young children of our own and in total we had 21 children at our wedding ( nearly all of them under 5 years old!). The mobile creche was a huge success. Alex organised a bouncy castle for the children and lots of activities for outdoors and the indoor space was also full of different toys! All of the staff were fantastic and attentive and all of the parents felt completely comfortable and relaxed leaving their little ones in the creche. As parents, we were able to sit down and enjoy a meal knowing that our kids were having loads of fun and being very well cared for. I can honestly say, that during the whole day, I did not notice any child crying or upset and that is credit to Alex and her fantastic team! We have received so many positive comments from other parents who for the first time have been able to bring their children along to a wedding and have the best of both worlds. I would highly recommend the Mummy SOS creche for anyone holding an event where there will be young children present - it is worth every penny! We will definitely use it again if we were to plan a birthday party or event. Thank you Alex!

We recently used MummySOS for our daughters four year old birthday party and Alex was amazing. From the very beginning her approach is entirely focused on the birthday girl. She sat down with my daughter and asked her exactly what she would like for her party (very sensibly having already asked me what she was allowed to have!). She then worked extremely hard to make it a reality - not easy when my daughter decided she wanted a mixed up animal party! The best part for me was that Alex came to my house a few times in the run up to the party to make a birthday cake with my two eldest and to make pinatas. My daughter felt like her birthday lasted all week! On the day of the party she made all the decorations and party games and ran the party from beginning to end. Alex is a marvel with children and held their attention brilliantly. Alex was also able to supply the party food and party bags (which the kids all decorated themselves). All in all she is incredibly professional and runs a fantastic party. My kids adored it. Given that I have recently had my third child I couldn't have done it without her. She is worth her weight in gold!!!

We contacted Alex at short notice to babysit our 2 boys (5 and 8) at our hotel and it was the best babysitting service we have ever used! Alex was friendly, flexible, professional and our boys had a great time! Would highly recommend using her!

My children had a great time at the Summer club today. Very well organised and lots of lovely activities. Thank you to everyone at Mummy SOS!

I recently had a 50th birthday party, and as we had invited a lot of families, we thought it would be a good idea to book Mummy SOS's mobile crèche to look after and entertain the children - we thought if they had a good time then the adults could relax and have a good time too. Alex and her team totally surpassed our expectations! They set up different indoor and outdoor zones, and made sure there was always lots going on to suit all the different ages and personalities, including crafts, indoor and outdoor games, and a wonderful piñata. The children were enthralled for 5 whole hours, and everyone was sad when it finally came to an end! I have received so many positive comments about Mummy SOS since the party, and would recommend them 100% to anyone who is thinking of organising childcare for their event. Thank you Mummy SOS!

Alex was a large part of my little boy's life from 6 months of age looking after him 2 days a week and providing additional excellent baby sitting when required. Whenever I left him with Alex I always knew he was in good hands and would be enjoying a fabulous time.

He's now 7 and still gets excited when he's got a visit planned to see 'my Alex' as he affectionately calls her.

I'd highly recommend any children related services and products Alex has to offer ��

Alex runs a fantastic playgroup on Wednesdays at the URC Hall in Buntingford (9-11am)! Excellent toys and activities and great staff that help to look after the children. Highly recommend it!

Alex is just wonderful and the kids love her! She is professional, kind, honest, fun, thorough and amazing at what she does! X
