Well it’s that time of year when the nursery is full of bunnies, chicks and eggs! Preparations for Easter are in full swing!

A lovely way to encourage butterflies close enough for our Munchkins to observe them 🦋

All aboard the Munchkins bus! You may have noticed our latest mode of transport, it’s a stylish model in Ferrari Red. Our Munchkins just love our bus and enables them to go on even more adventures!

With Mother’s Day less than 24hrs away, this is what being a Mummy is all about!💜

What a great week we have had in the garden! We love to give our children “ real” resources so that they can make, create and play with them any way they wish. We found some discarded cardboard tubes which we re homed in our garden, which the children immediately set about painting and instinctively enjoyed crawling back and forth through the largest tube. As the week went on the play naturally evolved and they decided to put a cargo net on it and used it as part of an obsta...cle course they built. The smaller tubes were used as shoots to roll cars down or just to do tummy rolls over them. Apparently next week our Munchkins want to put ears on the tunnel and make it into a bunny for Easter! The sun is out, lots of wonderful physical play in the garden with an added splash of children’s imagination!

Michelle our amazing Chef baked some cute mouse cookies for our Munchkins and read them a beautiful story “ If you give a mouse a cookie” while the children nibbled on their tasty snack! The children thought they were delicious ! We wonder what other tasty treats Michelle will be rustling up in her kitchen?😋

🦋Exploring the life cycle of a butterfly🦋
Over the last few weeks our Munchkins have been closely watching the tiny eggs change to caterpillars, then form cocoons and finally transform into butterflies. The children have loved watching the insects evolve and finally released them in the garden. A couple of the butterflies didn’t want to leave and preferred to land on our Munchkins which caused a lot of hilarity.🐛🦋

🌼What a beautiful Spring day, which meant only one thing... a trip to the park and alfresco snack! 🌼

👜What’s inside your Mummy handbag? Even though my youngest is now 15yrs old I still collect debris from my offspring and nursery and magically it appears in my handbag. Today I thought I would rifle through my Mary Poppins bag and see what treasures I would find. There were the normal necessities..2 pairs of reading glasses, note pad, pens ( 2 colours), purse etc, but how did a toy hedgehog end up hibernating in one of my side pockets? So if you Mummy’s have time today, turn out your bags and let’s see what special treasures you have snuggled away in them.👜 Liz ( Mummy to 4 big Munchkins)
