Works do, Munich cricket club..where's that I said. A cricket club. .jesus!! Met in the pub next door for a real ale before going in the non descript door front that is the MCC..all I can say is Wow!! Great atmosphere, great beer, great bratwurst and the oompah pah pah crew were amazing..if you get the chance.visit..you won't be disappointed! !

What a top find this was. Stumbled upon it after work and will definitely return. The place took me right back to my time living in Germany in the late 80s and throughout the 90s.



The staff are very friendly and the band added an air of authenticity

We all had a fantastic evening. I met up with some old work colleagues who I hadn't seen in 24 years! We could not have picked a better place. Dancing on the tables (along with the Oompah Band), great music, atmosphere, food and drink. It's a night you'll certainly remember and definitely one of the best venues in London.

Very friendly staff, good food, and very generous offering for tasting beers that I knew very little about.

The pork shanks were very tasty and the bill was manageable, 4 of us from 3pm to 6.30 for £140 including service charge. Would go back.

Outstanding. Better pork knuckle than I’ve had in Germany, huge portion too. Great beer, good service, good atmosphere. Not overpriced either, especially for central London. Will be back for sure.

Lovely food, decent portions and quick service. Well worth another visit!

Last time I was here it was a bar called The Old Monk what a change! Great atmosphere, fab beer and as for the food! Fantastic choice , huge portions, really tasty and great value. We finished the evening with schnapps at 6 for £21 and proper sized drinks not a sniff in a thimble. We had a really good nights gut in here definitely a place to go again .

Great vibe, loved the music, food good value and generous portions. Great cocktails and good beer!! Not overpriced either. Fab night out.

Great time had by all. However, it’s worth noting that Spätzle do not equal Bavarian dumplings. Very different things to maybe change that translation in the menu.

Good night out, staff good, beer good, food good umpah band takes on modern artists really worked and place was literally jumping at the end!

German bierkellers are fun....and now we have a few in London.



For me, I think that this might just edge out of number 1 spot the otherwise excellent Oktoberfest Pub in Fulham. Now I won't need to return to Berlin every few weeks for my bierkeller fix.



Just put some Diesel and Radler on the drinks menu ! And while you're at it get in some syrup to mix Weißbier mit Himbeere.

From the moment you arrive to the time you leave you are looked after.

No Band on a Friday, shame.

But still a good night.

Bringing some friends down to London, and looked in time out for something to do. Stumbled by chance on The Munich Cricket Club.

Website was easy to access so decided to book a table. That was really easy to do on line, and within half an hour it was booked.

What a great night!! The staff were so helpful, and friendly too. The food was delicious, and portions were brilliant.

241 cocktails from 5-8 is a real bonus in central London. And the band were brilliant. A real hidden gem of a place.

A friend booked this when we were down for the weekend,wasn't sure what to expect.We had a table booked with the possibility of food.When we saw the food coming out we decided to order and what a great decision that was.Food was plentiful and delicious.The staff are a delight,they are very efficient making sure drinks are always offered.Then the band came on and wow what a great bunch,they interacted with the customers making sure everyone was involved.It was a brilliant night and next time we're in London we will go back.If you want a fun filled night then this is the place to come

10 of us out for a family birthday and everyone had a fantastic time. Hannah was great throughout the booking process, band amazing & drinks reasonable esp 2 for 1 cocktails. Only negative was Waitress was not very happy we decided to buy drinks from the bar but a service charge of 12.5% for drinks is too much even for London. Bar staff very friendly and quick. Food platters also very good. This did not impact on our evening though & we will definitely be returning

Wonderbar! German biers were amazing but felt a little rushed to order and eat. I was on my own which shouldn’t make a difference but felt like it did.



Other than that it was amazing!

Nice atmosphere and great cocktails. Music was good but not really a German ambience. I didn't really enjoy my food. The pork was far too salty and the dumplings were just floury. However, my friend really liked her schnitzel

Called in with my wife and brother and sister in law for a quick bite to eat on Saturday evening. Used to live in Germany so fancied a German meal.

The oompah band bursting into life was a surprise to us all. Loved it. Had our meal which was excellent value and stayed a lot longer than we had planned.

A fun night out.
