Munro Therapy Services

Munro Therapy Services was founded in 2007 and provides Occupational Therapy to people with neurological impairment all over the North West.

MTS provides Neurological rehabilitation to aid the recovery of a person who has suffered an injury or illness which has affected their brain, spinal cord and / or peripheral nerves. Following this type of injury or illness, a person’s functional abilities and lifestyle can be dramatically altered.
The team at Munro Therapy Services have specialist knowledge and experience in assessing and treating people with neurological conditions. By following the Occupational Therapy Process, we will carry out an initial assessment to determine what the individual wants and needs and then work with them, their carers and /or their families and friends to design a therapy programme specific to the person concerned.

Munro Therapy Services prides itself on being able to provide a wholistic, client centred service without waiting lists, and due to our history within the field, we have established links with local neurological consultants, occupational therapists, Physiotherapists, speech & language therapists and Occupational, Clinical and Neuropsychologists. We can also liaise with Social services and CCGs, schools, respite services, and rehabilitation and nursing homes. We are able to offer joint sessions if appropriate for those people on current treatment.
Munro Therapy Services also offer training and advice on condition management to families and carers, as well as providing equipment and bespoke splints.
In addition, Munro Therapy Services has vast experience of working with clients with Dual Diagnosis of Neurological Condition and Mental Health, and Neurological Condition with Learning Disability.
MTS accepts referrals from: Individuals, Solicitors, Case Managers, Other Therapists, Local Authorities, Rehab Homes, Care Homes, Charities and Businesses
