An unusual job this afternoon! External pipe work over the stream had frozen and separated! All up and running again now рЯША

Frozen pipes....Please Share My phone has been going all morning!
Best course of prevention is to keep your house warm and your pipes insulated.
... Leave your heating on 24hours.
Cover any exposed pipes with clothes/towels etc.
Frozen pipes can be thawed with a hair dryer.

Work in progress....chimney opening has been lined with fireproof boards and a Slate Hearth is installed ready to accept the Woodburner.

Highly recommended Tradesperson! Anthony met me on site today to help resolve a flue problem with a gas boiler, a birds nest was removed and the appliance is now safe to use again. Thank you Sir рЯСН

A few minutes ago, I made a friendly greeting to a labourer working on a building site alongside me.
This appeared to startle him, and he then went on to explain that most people never talk to him and he is often ignored.
... He has become accustomed to people ignoring him....?!
