Would definitely recommend to people, really enjoyed, ordered rump steak which was cooked to perfection, partner had southern fried chicken, only slight criticism was quite small portion of chicken for the value of meal but won't stop us returning in the future.

We visited muse today (6 mums and 6 babies - 3 of them in highchairs) as usual when we go anywhere we arrived with prams and car seats and bags and loads of junk. The food was absolutely gorgeous and the service was great - nothing was too much trouble! It's so lovely to be able to go out with our babies and not be made to feel like we are in the way (even though we definitely must have been!)so thank you for that! I would also like to take this opportunity to apologise to anyone in Muse today that had to endure my baby screaming at the top of her lungs!! Thanks again!

We came to eat here on 20th September for my partners 30th. The table looked amazing and they went to so much effort to accommodate 10 people which then turned into 12 people. The set menu is a great idea and worked out perfectly for a larger group. The food was fantastic and what amazed me more was how assertive the staff were.



As it got later it got busier with younger groups at the bar, the girl serving our table closed the doors to the conservatory room to reduce the noise. Simple things like this is what makes a good restaurant a great restaurant. I can't thank you all enough, just amazing experience from start to finish. Thank you

First time I’ve been there and very pleased from walking in the door to leaving.

Lobster Taco and Shrimp for starters. Lovely.

Main courses were Filet Steak and Mixed Grill skewer and both were excellently cooked. Sweet potatoes fries - scrumptious!!

Well done all - excellent service and we will be back.

My partner and I came for a drink on Saturday and have been for coffee several times. Always find it a pleasant and vibrant place to be. Friendly staff, and the food looks fantastic. AND the toilets are the best in Uppermill ���

Muse catered for me at the QE Hall for 360 people on Friday night and they smashed it!!!! The food was amazing! Everyone kept commenting on how good it was. Also people said even thought the have been to many events like the business awards at the QE Hall they had never had food this good!! Well done guys! Great meal for works Xmas doo. The beef skirt was melt in the mouth. Service from the staff couldn't be faulted. It was a busy night and they never stopped. The manager and the owner were both very helpful and professional when we left something there that night. The way they acted resulted in us getting the item back. Could not fault the help they provided. Well done Muse.

Fabulous decor outside area beautiful glassware to die for cocktails fab and the gin was gorgeouse the food was fresh hot and beautifully presented and the staff were friendly informative attentive but not too much all in all a great place to eat and drink I'm hoping to go back very soon xx

A great family meal on Sunday, all staff were friendly and helpful, the Sunday menu didn't offer the meat skewer meal,but no problem, the chef had the ingredients and put one together ! Would we go back ? Yes we would !

This was my first ever visit with a friend who uses a wheelchair. As we arrived someone came straight to the door to help and quickly found us a seat in the conservatory room which was very nicely heated. The menu has a wide range of foods and all sounded lovely. Extremely pleased with the excellent service and really tasty food that we ordered. A fair price for the food that we ordered. We had a great meal and wasn't rushed to eat and leave. When we left they rushed to open the door and wish us well and hope we enjoyed the rest of the day. Keep up the good work.

The staff are friendly and attentive but there was only our party eating, the younger staff needed to run off to ask management any questions we asked as they never knew the menu.

I ordered sirloin steak which was exstreamly fatty and not worth the exorbitant prices they charge for what you get in my opinion.

However some of my party enjoyed their meals so cannot comment on theirs.

But I have had better steaks at cheaper franchises.

The Muse is a lovely venue may have been a one off, but I will not be returning as I find it not value for the money.

Nice bar in a good location but the service is pretty poor. Went a few weeks ago on a Sat evening in the nice weather so obviously the bar was busy, you expect to wait a little longer to be served that's just how it is but the bar staff just didn't have any get up and go in them. The first time I waited 20 minutes to be served 1 drink, next drink 10 minutes so the third time after waiting 10 minutes again I got 2 drinks- the exact same drink. The person who served me got 1 glass, filled with ice, put the gin in, then lemonade and gave it to me then went and repeated the whole entire process again! Made no sense, just get two glasses and do two at the same time. Making more work for himself and long wait times for customers.

Lunch in the sunshine...... not busy as it was a Thursday afternoon... ordered food and Drinks at the bar.. coke was tasteless.. , was served with the nozzle off and came out like soda water , coloured....... asked for lime slices, these were picked up by the servers fingers and plopped into each drink... nice... Ford was lovely..... although the vinegar was rank and had all manor of foreign bodies floating in the jar... didn’t use it ... overall a three... could have been a five but for these .... place is lovely... staff.. definitely need training .. didn’t look good with a chef walking through with a frozen loaf in a see through plastic bag... I was a manager for Whitbread .. serving 500+ meals per day... this is a great location.. please up your game as the food was great.. just the employees.. smiles cost nowt.. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Lovely food however service was poor waited waited and waited to be served, waiters and waitress passed but no one came to ask what we wanted! Shame as it’s a nice place to eat.

Went at 6 on a Sunday thinking well in time for a Sunday dinner no chance sold out already so you think the waitress would be a tad sympathetic I have seen stale bread with more emotion ! ! Not normally like this expected better will probably try somewhere different next time.

First visit. Brought my dad and friend for a treat. My friend had the house burger which had a very shall we say ‘unique’ flavour (tangy). He unfortunately was up most of the night on the toilet. He’s fine, the rest of the meal to be fair was delicious and the place is lovely.
