Museum Of Norwich At The Bridewell

Hidden away down a sidestreet it has plenty of rooms full of artefacts and information about Norwich's past. Well presented with enough hands on activities for children.

Excellent museum. Very wheelchair accessible with ramps and lifts to all areas. Helpful staff. Interesting and interactive displays. We need to return to take more of it in.

A good local, industrial history museum in a city centre location. It is disabled accessible but not completely disabled friendly. There are multiple levels which is to be expected in a conversation off multiple residences that make it awkward to get around in a simple manner. The displays are engaging and well curated and the staff are friendly and strive to be helpful.

Brilliant undercroft tour. Pur guide was very knowledgeable and delivered the information with aplomb! Shoe and local industry exhibits were fascinating. Schoolroom and shops are extremely interesting.

I've now been to this fab little Museum twice. Once with my toddler who loved it and then again with my husband so I could actually read some of the displays!
It is good value to visit, especially the pop in for a £1 offer one hour before closing and an hour is just about enough time to see everything.
With a variety of displays about Norwich's history and it's trades it's so interesting.
There are so many interactive displays, draws to open, dressing up, sounds and videos my 3yo had a blast.
There are free lockers you can leave your bags in. Good toilets. Am indoor picnic area. Lovely gift shop. Small courtyard to sit outside and a little bit food available as well.
