Music Matters provides private music therapy for clients of all ages. It was established by Lynn Connor who is a professional music therapist. Music therapy is the creative and spontaneous use of music in the development of a therapeutic relationship between client and therapist. The relationship built through music therapy can facilitate self expression and personal growth. It parallels with counselling and other psychodynamic therapies.
Particularly where communication is difficult due to illness, injury or disability and /or trauma, music therapy can offer an alternative language to words.
